For now, the new E300s are not allowed on late boards due to the lack of radios (that includes 27238-40).

Any idea when the CitySightseeing buses are going to be replaced?

I can't give you a definite answer, but it'll have to be before January 1st 2017, as that's when the DDA regulations come in to place for double-deckers.

Wonder what with, maybe some Stockten Tridents could be modified to DDA and CitySightseeing standard

Stagecoach North East MAN ALX300 22050 is being transferred from South Shields depot to Slatyford depot. It is not being replaced at South Shields.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2015
The Period 6 fleet cards have landed. I'll post the full lot later (when I've got a way of doing so without flipping between apps) but here are the more interesting moves:

22013 is Stockton reserve not Slatyford
22211 has been withdrawn without use at Slatyford
22214/5 are listed as part of the driving school as route learning vehicles at Walkergate and Sunderland respectively
22050 is listed as reserve
34550 is Hartlepool reserve along with 34562/5/7 however the later 3 are stored at Sunderland
34561 is listed as Stockton reserve
22210/675 last remaining active non-DDA MANs - bar 22214/5/673, all others are now listed for disposal

South Shields only have 1 which is 34611. The reason for 34611 being brought to South Shields was to replace 22734 which is now removed from the fleet

MRNUT85 : South Shields only have 1 which is 34611. The reason for 34611 being brought to South Shields was to replace 22734 which is now removed from the fleet

MAN 18.220 22050 is transferring to Slatyford and 33401 was noted by me inside Shields freshly repainted and retrimmed so clearly is going to stay within the North East Division.
34611 was repainted and retrimmed before entering service at Shields as well, and because of 22050s departure, 33401 will take its place.

EDIT : Micheal has confirmed 33401 has transferred to Shields above

So because it has been seen parked in South Shields, it automatically means it's getting used. Here's the big news update, 34401 is delicenced and has no 21 day dock or tax either

South Tyne lad. Are you aware that mmut85 is an employee of stagecoach south shields and can provide more genuine information than yourself. Also reading back through posts it was mmut85 who provided the first detail of 22050 moving to slatyford and also he was the first to advise that 34401 was parked up at south shields. maybe you need to just take a step back at times

Off current topic I seen one of South Shields "connect the dots" e200s minus its contravision on rear window. Any clues? Presume it's lost it's my window somehow
