Three places on my bucket list that I haven't managed to get to on business or pleasure related trips.
I have always fancied visiting some of the ex-Communist Countries (managed to see the former East Germany, Czech Republic and former Yugoslavia - when it still was Yugoslavia, but after the fall).

Dublin is full of Lithuanians, Lativans etc. Get yourself over there for a bit perv haha

The Sonesta Resort, you wouldn't want to go KLM, it takes longer as the plane also stops at Curaco.
If I go it would be Air France.

Mind I am looking forward to my probable trip to Costa Rica on a dreamliner
(15 Mar 2016, 5:22 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote I think it stops at St Maarteen first as its closer to Amsterdam and then will continue to Curacao which is south of St Maarteen of the coast of Venezuela.
Air France have a higher density configuration in Standard though, And KLMs 747s are retiring in the next few years because of its 787 order.
(15 Mar 2016, 5:27 pm)NK53 TKT wrote I like the thought of a 747 because I have only ever been on one, a BA example to Singapore when I was 2 in 2007. I am doing a lot of planned Long Haul coming up, I went to Australia last winter for a wedding with Emirates, they have very good in flight entertainment! I am off Thomson to either Costa Rica or Mexico in May 2017 and New York in the July. I am also planning Florida in 2018
(15 Mar 2016, 5:30 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote Never been on a 747 yet and I'm 13! Its a good job BA are keeping a few till the end of the 2020s.If united make year round flights I will go with them, if not I will use Aer Lingus
Austrailia on Emraites sounds a treat, 777W from Newcastle and A380 to Australia unless it was Perth which I think is booked 77Ws
New York is amazing i recommend you do that.
I'm off to Florida in 3 weeks, to see my Family that live over there.

I went to Brisbane, where from to Florida?
(15 Mar 2016, 5:55 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote This year is believed to be the last year United review their Passenger numbers for the route, Next year I believe will be the start of year long services.
Dubai to Brisbane uses a A380 doesn't it?
Last year was Untied to Newark from Newcastle, Spent 4 days in New York then another 757 to Orlando then its a Hour drive down Interstate 4 to Tampa -
Which is where some of my family live.
This year will be direct to Orlando, On the 8th April using Thompsons 787 then the usual 1 hour drive down Interstate 4 to Tampa.
(15 Mar 2016, 5:58 pm)NK53 TKT wrote Yup. I was downstairs![]()
It would probably be easier to go from Gatwick![]()
You can go Newark to Tampa with United.
I do hope United do it year-round mind
(15 Mar 2016, 6:05 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote I recommended all them things to my Dad but he goes for the cheapest which at the time was Orlando![]()
I wouldn't mind doing BA to Tampa from Gatwick mind, But cost comes into it again.
Though its not confirmed, The flights were mostly fully-booked last year so I wouldn't be surprised if this years the same.
I'll try to find the article I read about it being 2 years till year round services for you.
