Let's do the Maths here as according to Google.

Google states that the distance in Miles between Earth and the Moon is 238,900 Miles, if you times that by 72 you only get 17,200,800 Miles to be exact, not 35 Million as Go North East state. So to be both "Mathematically" and "Factually" correct you would need to travel to the moon 147 times to achieve over 35 Million Miles, which is more than double what they've stated.

Ohh Dear Ohh Dear Ohh Dear someone at Go North East has had an absolute howler, almost comparable to the officiating of Andre Marriner at the Sunderland Match this afternoon, embarrassing to say to the least.
You forgot the "and back" aspect.

I believe someone else on the forum has as a certain 'catchphrase' which is usually reserved for situations like this.

Of course, I might be .....!!

Malarkey has pulled "an absolute howler", it would seem, "embarrassing to say the least"!

Well yesterday was my lucky day... wandering around Eldon Square with my Christmas Tree from Argos as you do... and i saw 9098 pulled in, so i got out my dayticket and got on, intending to get off at Gateshead.
As we had crossed the river... i saw 9099 3 buses ahead, i got my camera ready, and to my delight, we pulled in behind 9099. I grabbed my Christmas Tree and belted infront of 9099, not the best picture, but it's what's in it that counts  Big Grin

None as of yet:

5333 and 5334 remain allocated to Peterlee pending delivery and entry into service of 691 and 692.

The arrival of 693 and 694 at Peterlee for the new X6/X7 services has allowed 5335 and 5336 to be transferred to Deptford, but both are (or should be) currently at Saltmeadows Road undergoing repaint into the company's new corporate livery. Neither 693 nor 694 are branded yet as far as I know. When 5335 and 5336 return to Deptford following repaint, two Scania L94s will transfer to Percy Main.

In other news - 6146 has now arrived at Chester-le-Street for inspection and defect repairs prior to entering service at Crook.

It's not on the road today.

The boards both demonstrators should have been allocated to have instead been allocated Angel branded Hybrids 6067 and 6066.

Not to worry (although there is no reason why you should). I would just like to see it in person rather than on a photo - i still havent seen 9099 in the flesh yet!

It hadn't been when I was last at Saltmeadows Road earlier this week, and 6146 is still visible on the DVLA website as being taxed as YN55NFE, so I don't think it has.

Another website that I will treasure. I made sure I grabbed the link from Michael's post to the new VOSA site and my god is it difficult to work!

On a slightly different note (and will be the last question from me), do you know what times the T1 is due in Lanchester and if it stops at all stops on its route?

It was at first but once you've tried a few times, its a lot easier to use.

I just put the route in i wanted, searched and then once the list of routes came up, i changed it to the NE area and then searched again. Tongue

A lot of old services appear too.

Anyone who does want the address, here it is:

The logo next to the X5 is also down as "Wear Express"

There's nowt express-like about the X35 as it stands. Maybe this will change with its renumbering.

It's changing to the X5 but however it's still using solars 5204-09/11 , I was told that the solars will be gaining tag lines but they were waiting for the service changes.

Well for now it is, like i said on my post, don't know if it's a mistake or a hint that they'll change the brand to "Wear Express" and to Citaro's in the near future.

Probables a hint though, they'll probables want the same brand for the X5/X6/X7.

It will help with marketing - the reason why the X35 was renumbered

Ye, now means, we have a confirmation that a Citaro route will receive new buses, more likely the Blaydon Racers out of all of the Citaro routes.

Will the double deckers in the corporate livery receive the taglines with having the advert boards above the lower deck windows? I have just done a mock up of what I think it could look like underneath the windows and in this case, the text would say something promoting the app (with the app open on a slightly more realistic image of a phone):

692 is due to be delivered to Go North East on Monday.

692 has now arrived, it was photographed by Guy Park-Royal - https://www.flickr.com/photos/98641142@N08/31068619640/
