I wonder what buses will be used on the 57 as they're getting a brand, however Euro 6 zone comes in or should at the end of Sept so will this be versa's at every 30 mins, or a branded decker route where it will just stay at every 30 mins.
I wonder what would be happening with the QuayCity versa's. Anyone know if the versa's sent to Deptford will be refurbed they're awful inside. Why do versa's always have an awful discolouration inside.
Have all Consett streetdecks moved to Riverside for the sake of using them on the X21, some would probably be re-branded for the service.
Meanwhile 6332 is yet to be de-branded too.
I guess in a few weeks everything will probably be moved around again!

RE: September 2022 Service Changes
Has anyone taken a photo of the voyager ex Lothian Volvo's since moving to Deptford last night apparently there on the 56 today
RE: September 2022 Service Changes
Does the 41 really warrant Versas, i saw one with a grand total of 2 passengers on it, GNE just do yourself a favour and can it from Howdon again, should've just left it as the 40/41 and timed the 42/42A better so it wasnt up the 40/41s arse
Kind Regards

Probably does need something bigger than a Solo on the Hadrian Park to Wallsend section, although I agree the Howdon extension is pointless and poorly used.
However, it was Nexus who funded the extension and not a decision by Go North East I believe.

I always thought the QuayCity Versas would be good on the 28/29/28B.
Does anyone know what buses are going to be used for the branded 57 Service

Things can change and he is no longer the MD.
Surely it makes sense to put decent buses on the 41/41A rather than older Solo's. The Quaycity Versa's have been refurbed havent they?

I can’t see the contract saying it has to be a long bus, it would of said the minimum capacity for the bus to be used for the contract.
What’s the minimum capacity for the 41/41A in the latest secured contract?

I’m sure I saw on here somewhere, that solos from deptford would go to Tyneside to replace older secondhand solos and the secondhand solos to be withdrawn, unless it was just speculation [emoji848]

With Washington having just gained the 34 and (57?) 58/X58, Did they loose anything?
Not quite getting how they are fitting all these extra buses in…. Whilst I appreciate the 8 is now only hourly I assume it will go back to half hourly at some point.

Only the Heworth-Wardley section on an evening Monday-Saturday. They do the full route on Sundays.
