1399 will probably join 1398 very shortly at Redcar then

Former NW Pulsars 3033-7 (MX10 BZS/T/U/V/W) are presently en-route from St Helens to Ashington depot - they will be NE 1390-1394 once ready for service.

Believe 7581 has left Ashington, assuming for ADC, as part of this. 2852-4 will be the other eventual casualties, though I imagine they may have a short stay of execution as there are currently quite a few vehicles needing major repairs.

7545 was rear ended by a car in Morpeth yesterday while in a bus stop, and by the looks of it will be out of time for quite some time. I assume it won’t quite be the same damage as 7513 suffered which saw it written off due to the speed involved, but there is significant damage to the side of the engine compartment.

7579 was due to go today but is waiting for work, so 7581 went in its place. Given the damage to 7545 I imagine 7579 may stay north for some time to cover for that.

1404 could be the subsitute either maybe? Not ideal having a Pulsar for a Decker but this is Arriva. Believe that was meant to be moving out with these coming in.

Not sure if plans have changed but I heard it was off to Stockton to see off one of the Streetlites to Merseyside. Redcar wouldn't be a bad shout until then though as they seem really short on vehicles, again.

Just because some buses are off the road at Stockton doesn’t mean that Stockton are bad, buses are off the road for reasons such as short of drivers, vehicles issues that’s what you need to understand, every depot is the same not just Stockton

I’m not annoying anyone actually I’m just stating the fact that you have a problem with Stockton buses been off the road & I’ve gave you an explanation for it so don’t know why you’re like that for

It would help if you explained the reasons in a less hostile way. It's easy to disagree with people on here without the hostility that you regularly bring with it.

It's not just you, but the regular Stockton v Redcar arguments really does get annoying for a lot of people.

I’m not being hostile to anyone but I’m sorry if you think I am, just because Stockton has some buses off the road doesn’t mean that they are bad they are off the road for a simple reason but they don’t complain about Redcar at all, another thing they are saying that it’s good that Redcar have got new livery pulsars Yh that’s good but the thing I don’t understand is why are they saying that they are getting more journey mark pulsars because like I stated no one knows what livery pulsars Redcar are due to receive it could journey mark, Arriva Old or Cotswold no one knows, yes I know that Redcar are getting more pulsars but people are moving step ahead because they think they know they more pulsars in this certain livery but like I said no one knows what livery the pulsars will be when they turn up at Redcar 3 are already here in journey mark the rest could be a mix up

Theres a 15 Year Old limit so they won't be permitted to operate on there. I would assume that 2 of the bad Hill Climbing / bad performing Eclipse Gemini 2's will be designated Park and Ride Duties. However, I think we will see MMC's on there from time to time. Basically what Arriva decide on what they want to throw on there on the day.

Would have been nice to see 7609 and 7610 to transfer back to Northumbria with the rest of the DB300's and they send maybe older E400MMC's like 7551 and 7552 for Park and Ride Services. Just so that Redcar don't have 2 random DB300's staying there. With Arriva now trying to cascade oddball vehicles and getting Depots to have the same sort of vehicle type, this would probs help Redcar a little in my personal opinion. It would also mean Northumbria can get 2 brand new vehicles when the DB's get withdrawn.

They're no use up here as they're not Euro 6. No way will Arriva be spending money on upgrading them either as they're shot to bits.

The age limit only applies as of the age at the start of the contract. This means that the DB300s can operate this year, and it will probably be their last year. The contract will be retendered for 2026 season, resetting the vehicle requirements then.

Stockton’s turn to gain their NW Pulsars this weekend - 1564-73 will depart and in exchange NW Pulsars 3006/7/8/10/21/24/26/29/30/31 will come the other way.
