Absolutely nothing to stop Arriva from moving older vehicles around to create a more attractive businesses case. Given that Redcar aren't getting the electrics for the 63 anymore, 10 year old Streetlites may well be the next best thing vice 15 year old Pulsars. Bear in mind Stagecoach in Stockton is about to become a flagship all electric depot, it'll be putting Arriva to shame and with a massive batch of Pulsars up for renewal they might be putting the case forward for a similar full depot order.
All this chat about people wanting certain buses at Redcar vs Stockton is childish tbh - Arriva's a business not some enthusiast fantasy - they're not gonna move a bus from one depot to another cause you want them to! Hell Arriva haven't had any sort of heritage livery for years.

(17 Mar 2025, 12:15 am)Jimmi wrote Not sure if the 7 to Yarm would still be suitable to use a smaller bus as it's been Solo/MPD worked in the past.
The only other one which comes to mind for possible use is Ashington for the 434 and the 415/460 on a Saturday.
Pretty much everything now needs something larger than those E200MMCs.
We're still over a year away yet from Darlington's new electrics arriving, so who knows what will be needed for what and where this time next year, most of the Tees Valley supported services are now supported into next year, unsure how DalesBus would work next year for Darlington if all the E200MMCs departed from there as electrics likely won't be suitable for range on those routes, unless they went back to using the 67 plate StreetLite's again.
Yeah the 7 was the route I was thinking about but not sure either.
Deep down though I do think they'll end up down in Kent. They've still got 04 Plate MPD's in use which they'll probably want to get shot of.
Obviously doesn't do much for up here but there's been a lot of similar orders lately like the Evoras at Redcar seeing out midlife Streetlite's to Liverpool, the electrics in Leicester displacing the 72 Plate MMC's to Leeds, the brand new E400's to Kent sending their 16 Plate examples to Durham, similar Evora swap down in Luton and so on.

And 1426 has stopped tracking on the 95
Stockton needs to send 1534 back it wasn't out today spare so there don't actually need it
1426 was on the 95 all day as I seen it

Remember, the depots are all part of the same company. No depot is being greedy, they're just moving the buses around in the best way to fit the needs of the business as a whole and not one specific depot. Depots will make requests and push their needs, but it will be decided higher up what the commercial requirements are.
You really need to stop this petty argument about who blows up more buses.

Banned for what exackly? I'm not doing anything at all, your the one who's complaining about buses being at Stockton & I'm just stating the fact that Stockton isn't being greedy it's just what needs to be done to help the depot out & you clearly don't understand that.

I think you both just need to realise that it's a business, and the management will make the decisions which make the most commercial sense and the decisions that will keep the shareholders happy above anything else. Even the depot managers will be unhappy at a lot of decisions that come from above, but that's how it works.

Exactly that’s what I’ve been saying commercial are the ones who makes the decisions where the buses go because my friend told me that aswell
RE: Redcar depot
All the withdrawn avenues have left redcar depot. E400 mmc parked in redcar depot today too.
Few pulsars too have been out in a while
1420
1423
1449
Guessing 1444 broke down the other day.
3053 and 4706 both been off over a week now
7878 and 7879 having tracked since the beginning of the week guessing one of them is at Redcar
