Aye, it was more for operational reasons really, the 350 is slightly too long to do just Northumberland Park to Newcastle so would need to interwork with something that's like 50 minutes or so which the 335 wouldn't be a million miles away from if it was extended.

The 19/335/350/W2 are a waste of tax payer funds currently though, as they are imo, especially when you've got stuff like areas in Sunderland unserved which used to be covered by the 18 as they've 'got no money'. The W2 just shouldn't exist at all, when the 351 exists which is basically the same route, bar one bus stop. Just a waste of public funds.
