Why doesn't a bus come into my estate it's a good 7 minute walk to my nearest bus stop too? Which by the way is how far the furthest point in that estate from the main road.

You need to get your compo face on, get the local rag to do a sob story and then wait for the operator to tell you where to go, via a wordy quote in the paper. 

It might not get you or your neighbours anywhere, but it will help the operator shoot themselves in the foot in a quite public manner. 
Pretty sure it will help us get towards re-regulation. Eventually.
