Are the speculation true about the x93/4 becoming all mmc next year. If so are they being given a similar livery to the x4s

You say that but Arriva do have a habit of keeping one last member of a batch on the go for a while after the rest have gone - pretty sure Redcar kept an Optare Prisma on the go for two years after the rest of them were withdrawn so you never know!

4701 is staying active until it has an uneconomical repair or test runs out, whichever comes first. It’s the dedicated vehicle for the X3A

Some cracking photos of an X93 ploughing up the hills on the A171 between Whitby and Scarborough from today.

Not quite as impressive as the Temsa on Saltburn Bank, but the fella in the Merc, who got stuck presumably didn't thumb a lift from the decker.

7580 is now back at redcar and was on the 62 today

Any truth in Redcar and Stockton depots getting new ADL E200MMC’s to replace the Pulsar 2’s?

There are some E200 MMCs due in the summer yes, earmarked for Teesside. 6 cylinder ones, so useful for almost everything.

ooh 6 cylinder those are the proper epic ones, better than the 4.5l 4 cylinder. Nice one. Hope they get one on the X12

1430 1373 7579 are only on loan to Durham from Redcar Whitby

7579 and 7580 were at Blyth all too briefly! I enjoyed having a modern bus on my local routes for a change. A bus capable of more than 50mph, and having working heating! I look forward to the new batch of these vehicles arriving at Blyth.

I know 7579 and 7580 were only on loan for repaints but they have only ever sent 1 Pulsar away at a time for that. There is 2 left now, 1504 and 1505 12 plate, guess the older ones won't be done. They should re do 1499 12 plate, including the interior on that one as it is awful and not fit for purpose.

Stockton are getting 18 brand new E200MMCs, Redcar aren’t getting any new E200MMCs they’re getting new E400MMCs for the X93/4, I was also told that Tees Valley are due 24 new Evoras so I think they will be split between Stockton, Darlington & Redcar maybe

Partially funded by Tees Valley the Evora's I believe someone said aswell 

I'd assume if some are going to Darlington they'll be for the X66/X67. Can't see Tees Valley funding buses to serve Co. Durham or N. Yorkshire.

Actually Redcar are due more Evoras  there  be goring on the 63s boards which are linked with the 5a working

I wonder what's going to happen to the B9's because if Redcar are getting BRAND new E400MMC's for the X93, then I would assume they will get a full set of 6 to replace all of the B9's. Also, an extra 2 E400MMC's are going to Whitby from Durham for the P and R Contract.

Also, Redcar have 4x 72 plate E400MMCs already. They could have just left Durham with the MMC's or gave to Darlo and kept the B9's for the P&R or used the 72 plate ones for it. Seems abit of a waste to get rid of some good vehicles when they still have a tonne of life left in them. Are they planning on making the 62 a full Double Decker service? I think with a little tinkering of the route, there is potential to make a Double Decker Route from Redcar to Middlesbrough.

In regards to Single Deck vehicles, I don't think Stockton need anything more bar the 18x E200MMCs at the moment.

No-one knows what's happening but I wouldn't be surprised if the B9's took the spare role and the 72 Plates head back to Ashington since they're desperate for more buses and they're getting nothing extra (new ones appear to be replacing the 17 Plates out).

Stockton badly needs investment more than those E200's though imo. The 5/5A, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 17A and 17B are all busy routes and deserve something better than 15/16 year Pulsar's on them. Unsure if there's enough here to replace all those though.

The new diesel vehicles are not funded in any form by the local authority. Only the electrics are.

The E200s are confirmed to be going to Stockton. The order is already in place and they are due in the summer - along with the new double deckers for Northumberland and the 6 due for Redcar.

The Evoras are currently not confirmed.
