Arriva tickets are really good value for money if you live in Arriva territory (I assume you do). The length of their routes and the variety of places they serve. Of course when they scrapped the 51/52/53/54/55/553 between Freeman and Battle Hill/Wallsend that reduced the places a bit. Still really good value though, all the way from Berwick to Scarborough with the Regionwide for £10.50, and even cheaper if you get the duo if you are travelling with someone else.

It’s for a short hop, just wondering if a day tickets will be cheaper between Peterlee and Hartlepool , or will singles be cheaper for 2 adults there and back , didn’t realise the arrive day tickets were over £10 each, I don’t think the east Durham tickets still exist for Peterlee and Hartlepool zones?

East Durham zone does still exist. £6.20 per day.
Two singles is still cheaper.

North East Regionwide duo is £18, so, works out at £9 each, if you stay together for all journeys, which you would be for a return. Sounds expensive but covers all of the North East, so is good value really

East Durham All Zones duo is £11, so £5.50 each, compared to £6.20 if bought separately. Apparently East Durham single is £3 (not sure about singles between Peterlee and Hartlepool specifically though) so duo for East Durham zones looks the cheapest to me (I could be wrong).
