Electric Buses/new orders

I thought exactly the same when I was down Reading on Monday.
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Those seats on the Reading Buses in that article are the best type of bus seat I've had personally. It's the same type that Stagecoach have on their 16 plate Enviro 400MMC, but then they switched to the less comfy ADL Smart Seat for their newer buses, and the GNE ones also have the ADL Smart Seat, yet now ADL seem to have moved away from that again and back to these better seats as their 74 plate Enviro 400EV at Arriva Blyth has these seats again. Shame GNE haven't gone for those seats ever, or Arriva, as their new buses have the Civic seats, which are ok, but not as good as these.

Go North East have once again updated there Driver Changeover Fleet with investment in a batch of Grey "75 Plate" Volkswagen Golfs in which I noted a few at North Shields this afternoon.

1316 - PK75 HZU / 1318 - PK75 KFP / 1320 - PK75 VLR were the ones I had seen and have Go-Ahead North East "Part Of Go-Ahead" Logos applied on the Driver/Passenger Side Doors.

Should 1816 not be 1316?

Gne have the E200EV.  The 100EV is the small versions of it
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
6400 has arrived at Stena Line Terminal in Wirral for delivery to Go North East this evening, hopefully the remainder of the batch are on there way also.

For those confused about the X66, the vehicles are Enviro 200EV's.

Why the flip are they getting moved to Percy
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
So is the 301 getting deckers or not, since the change of plan? Where are the Angels going if not to Percy Main? To Sunderland/Washington?

Are the Coasters staying at Percy Main for the 340/341, 342, 354,355, 356?

Curious to what the electric doubters think of the Angels/58s now. They're pretty consistent in being used all day now, not in one go, as the late ones are getting a charge at about 5pm, but a little bit of planning means that there's electrics on from first to last bus.

It's warmer weather now, the issues only happen when it's cold and it's Britain so it gets cold. Mind that said there's still 3 Diesels on right now.

I mean it snowed in parts of the region yesterday, and I had ice on my car at 3am this morning.
