Why can't Sunderland and Slatyford take 74 reg instead of new 25 reg for stockton depot they have two all ready.

Anyone know when Slatyfords electric buses can go on other routes in Newcastle other then just the 30/31/36s?

I was asking why that 2 of stockton yutongs buses went to Sunderland and to Slateford depot are there on loan or are there on term loan that I was asking?

They were bought for the 30/31/36 so will be a very long time. Plus only drivers that do those routes have been trained on them, everyone else isn’t getting shown them yet.

Does it matter?, same bus, only difference is the number plate

Not really but the 25 reg no 73175,6 we're bought for stockton depot that all I say. They should had 74 reg yutongs not 25 reg.

73176 never entered service at Stockton, it was delivered and immediately taken to Newcastle.

73175 has been transferred to Sunderland due to 80000 staying in the fleet for the foreseeable future - even with the PVR increase on Monday it means Stockton should still have 5 spare buses - with much less daily defects that shouldn’t be much of an issue but should see daily double deck use
