Thats a shame. It was a cracking idea though but what let it down so much was the amount of people that could participate.

Just a shame it couldn't have been held on a weekend, otherwise I would have been up for it and no doubt aureolin would have too.

Perhaps it could be postponed until a later date.

The issue is Marcus is away for the third and fiurth weekends, and Im away for the following ones - but ill re arrange it for September.

I agree, will be very hard to do so with some older members having work commitments.

It's finding the right date that is the problem. Saturdays are the best day for everyone, but Tom has commitments with friends (?) on Saturdays, and Sundays can be hard, as a lot of services don't operate. I never go out on Sundays, they tend to be my HW/sleep days.

No doubt a time will come up where we can fit in a date on a Saturday where most people can join us. I think if we postpone it now, it will give Tom and me more time to make things better, as I must admit, to me, we weren't very organised. Perhaps we can even fit in a scoring system for the (primarily) Stagecoach and Arriva members? But for now, looks like it's postponed until further notice......

Saturdays should be fine as I cant be arsed with most of them anymore!

I've got too much on over the weekend now the football season has started, so I won't be able to commit to anything.

Please don't give up on this idea it sounds like the most fun my miserable arse has had in years...

I think if you and Marcus come up with something concrete. How it'll work, how it's judged, starting/finishing points, etc, then there's no reason it won't work. The only way I think you'll accommodate most is on a Saturday unfortunately.
