22195 looks as if it has been crash damaged.

Won't be crash damaged. More likely dragged around the yard with a JCB which usually damages the vehicle.

Who needs heroes anyway? Villians have more fun.

^ Your issues with quoting seem to be intermittent, which leads me to the assumption that it's definitely based upon certain web browser usage... Try Google Chrome if that's not the one you're already using.

May be worthwhile pressing 'Preview' before you post in future, as that shows if your post is going to be blank...

Why the 7th when the new services don't start til the 30th?!

No, it wasn't damaged when in Stockton depot after withdrawal. Indeed, it had somehow got a new lower rear panel in place of the all-over ad one it carried previously.

Probably 27739.

It's being worked on by Cummings

For anyone wanting photos...

Repainted 27734 is on Ecos today - heading to South Shields now on Wearmouth Bridge.

Was either E1 or E6.

Only 22 or 23 Man ALX's will get withdrawn, don't think they will gain any newer buses to, just the enviros.
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

More E200s to replace them?

E300 Delivery Update

SN64OJW is presently the only example to have arrived (this being 27171).
The 'Time Zone' branded examples all now have fleet numbers applied and are found hiding in the rear of the main shed (that being the shutter visible from Portrack Lane).
RE: Stagecoach North East - Latest
(23 Oct 2014, 8:29 pm)AIG20 wrote There are many scenarios:

  • Swapping them with Slatyford Pointer Darts 35187-9.
  • Swapping them with Slatyford MAN E200s 39715-7
  • Swapping them with 3 non-DDA MAN ALX300s - which would be very unlikely.
  • New ADL E200s (as meantioned above)?
  • New ADL E300s?
  • EDIT: New buses for the "E" services with 3 ADL E300s remaining and the rest being cascaded to Stockton.

With regards to the 'E' routes, it would be interesting to see what moves around.

Three zone out branded examples were heading South in convoy on the A1 at about 7pm this evening.

I believe they will be Stockton bound but it is just a rumour at this point.

Can't be 3 Zone Out examples - as there's only 4 brands and the pattern so far seems to be 4 of each. And given 27170 arrived late last week and 27171 arrived earlier this week - would make sense that one of those 3 will be the next version of the brand (either O-Zone in green or Comfort Zone in Purple).

RE: Stagecoach North East - Latest
Couple of updates to our fleet lists:
- Updated to show registrations of 27170 and 27171.
- Updated to reflect Period 7 movements
- Updated to show repaints of 24107, 24108, 24110, 27734, 27739, 27740

Let me know if I've missed anything out...

I wonder whether 27723-30 will be getting a "freshen up" repaint?

Thanks - I thought I changed that one when I first noted it heading to Sunderland minus the majority of its branding. Clearly not!

The trio spotted can now be confirmed as 27172/3/4 (SN64 OJX/Y/Z).

In an unexpected twist, 27172/4 carry the 'Zone Out' version of 'The Zone' branding while 27173 wears the green 'O-Zone' version. This does more or less confirm the remaining examples should be as followed:

27175-7: Green 'O-Zone'
27178-81: Purple 'Comfort Zone'

Those are of course subject to change.
RE: Stagecoach North East - Latest
The answer to that is yes, 27173/4 are definately confirmed but we're awaiting confirmation of 27172.

Ta - will update regs on fleet lists by 5pm.

(24 Oct 2014, 9:36 am)AIG20 wrote 22672 was at the rear of Sunderland Depot yesterday as well as 22666 on Tuesday (or last week), so I guess he actually means 22673 - as I'm sure I seen or heard somewhere that this has been de-licensed due to a mechanical problem, not just because its a spare vehicle.

Could be 22206 as that has been up north for a while.
RE: Stagecoach North East - Latest
(24 Oct 2014, 5:42 pm)AIG20 wrote I know that 22206 is de-licenced due to its engine, but I don't know why they are repairing it when others are being held in reserve as spares, being listed for disposal, and sold for scrap.
Could it have a good chassis/interior compared to others?

(24 Oct 2014, 2:39 pm)Kuyoyo wrote The answer to that is yes, 27173/4 are definately confirmed but we're awaiting confirmation of 27172.

Confirmation is of the arrival of 27172. It is presently parked over the pits backing into the main shed (where 27166-9 are presently parked) while 27173/4 are both over the pits nearest the offices.

This means, that 18/25 have now been delivered, leaving just 27175-81 outstanding. It's likely 5 will be delivered next week going by present pattern (5 the first week, 4 the second week, 5 last week, 4 this week) which would then just leave 2 outstanding to be delivered on launch week.
