You have indeed!
Happy to oblige and hope people see what I've done and contribute.
I passed 7490 today in Bedlington Station while on 7493, was around 15 minutes late but had its hazard lights on and wasn't moving anywhere, however the display still read X21, would have thought these cut out when the engine did?(No sound at all from 7490 and nobody getting on or off)
7458 is an absolute diagrace! The gearbox is knackered and put it this way, if VOSA had've been at the stop and smelt it when it pulled off after dropping me off this morning, it would've been taken off! Stop bringing up all these ex London cascades and operating them on main routes! I even seen an ex London gemini on the X18 this morning. It's absolutely not on!
Darent go there and add my thoughts Davey! We've got 8 of them now to operate our peak X93. You'll see I've set up a separate thread under The Canteen Off Topic for us to discuss this.
My X93 thread has taken off like a rocket ship! Thanks guys. I have been asked to bring any news re the service I get here so just to let everyone know (thanks Scott) that 2 further B7's are being transferred from Northumbria down to Whitby to give them a total 8 deckers to cover the PVR requirement. Hopefully this will allow them to cover as many boards as possible with the B7's and use other stock as spares/standbys. It would prove useful to have a spare vehicle based at Whitby to negate the need to bring a vehicle from Redcar in the event of breakdowns.

Feel as though I need to "stir the pond" so to speak! All so quiet out there in Arrivaland?
Just noticed that the first batch of Enviros and 7445/6 have tinted windows, would this be more expensive and why did Arriva choose this for some buses and then not continue to do so with others?(Next set of Enviros didn't for example)

Just wondering any reason why 7608/11 aren't getting refurbished at Thorntons like the Sapphires?

No Idea to be honest, Bus & Coach World of Blackburn ? has refurbished vehicles for Arriva North East in the past, they did several of the Stockton Depot Cadets 19xx series a few years ago.

Given the volume of refurbished vehicles required, I guess they are sharing the work between the two Company's perhaps to meet launch deadlines ?.
Visiting Stockton depot today were Sapphire Pulsar 1513, Solo 2504 and Temsa 4703. Dart 1649 was up yesterday too.

Seems sensible yeah Big Grin probably should have thought about that myself anyway....Any idea how many are to get refurbished?

All of the current X10/X11 branded Geminis... 7608 7611-17 7621-25

The Omnicities (and I assume Max E400s) are also due to be done at Blackburn later in the year.
Might be worth mentioning that service 5A changes route from tomorrow to go via Hollybush and Saltburn Lane in Skelton to reach Asda, in both directions.
Why so?
Have you dipped into my x93 thread lately? Some interesting comments re fleet to use and express services and some real disparaging one from people's "experiences", blow jobs, drinking, standing....

Industrial Estate is made up of private roads apparently (despite the lack of signage to indicate this) so we cannot use it with immediate effect.
Thank heaven's there hasn't been an accident. I never thought of that just what a raff reaching Asda! Sounds as though someone up top has goofed?

Didn't know about that.

Sounds interesting!

That's a shame. No more views of the scrapyard! Taken them long enough to realise!
No more riding on the 5a or X93 for a tour of Skelton!!
Yes Roland. I asked for people's comments and that's just what we're getting. The good, the bad and the downright ugly!!

Nobody knew (there's certainly no signs!) but the owners of the industrial estate want a payment for using their roads so unsurprisingly the service will be re-routed to avoid it, not missing any stops out either!

Cheeky sods! Was there never an attempt to put stops in?
Being trying to work out the new route but my brain is addled! Think we need sat nav on the buses!!
