Doesn't surprise me if it's at Newton Aycliffe.

We are a bunch of civilised people here in Aycliffe, we wouldn't lower ourselves to the standards of the likes of those of Peterlee or Stanley.

I bid you good day.

What I don't quite understand, is how you make snide little comments about areas you don't know very well at all/couldn't locate on a map to save your life. I recall on more than one occasion you have done it with Chester-le-Street; sharing a video of a fight on Facebook and calling it an ''average day'', then when 5409 was allocated to the 21, it was ''typical'' of Chester-le-Street's allocations. Do you find it funny? If so, it's an extremely poor sense of humour you have.
I've been sat on the X12 at Durham Bus Station for 10 mins now. The driver pissed off and closed the doors, and no one has been seen since. Awkward.

Not sure how much longer it is out

That's a breach of Health & Safety isn't it? I thought drivers weren't supposed to leave buses unattended with passengers on board and the doors closed. Or am I thinking of something else?

I'm guessing the inbound driver has brought it in (early?) and the outbound driver hasn't turned up or was late for their break or something. We do (rarely) leave buses in Stockton with people on too. I've always wondered what would happen if nobody realised.

Not aware of anything transferring yet
Pleased to announce that I wasn't left for dead on the X12. We eventually got moving, and arrived 16L in Chester.

Was it the same driver who got off?

If this was a Belmont run, why am I not surprised!

Photo of 4652 can be found here - might be worth you pointing out the defective panel on the front LED destination to the powers that be, Scott!

On another note - there seemed to be some hefty delays on service 685 this morning while I was in Hexham. Noticed some fairly decent loads for a change, but mostly concessionary pass holders. Amazing how different the service is now compared to what it was a few years ago when Arriva had a depot in Hexham - reliability perhaps making customers look elsewhere? Go North East's competing equivalent services also endured some minor delays but nothing as severe as the regular 20-minute delays I observed in both directions (especially from Carlisle).

Nope. Possibly the world's slowest driver replaced him.

The 193 needs to use a vehicle with a ferry lift capability due to the terrain at Egton, hence a Scania fitted the bill.

That's highly possible. The X12s have been getting a good 10 minutes or more layover at Durham, with the bridge works timetable running.

One did that, last week, and the driver turfed off the few passengers that were passing through so he could close the doors and go on his break. (probably awkward for those passengers who chuck their tickets away as soon as they sit down)

So what you're saying is that if I make a comment about Chester-le-Street or anything you have a go and shot me down but if it was Robert you would do it back 'higher' enthusiasts coming into play again what Adam said in the GNE thread is right he feels he can't post without others shooting him down and I feel the same that's why I'm thinking about leaving the forum.
Does a Stockton driver actually know how to get to Egton ?!

The fact they don't pay for their fares in any case doesnt ever seem to make them grateful for what they do get!

Red hot on 2804 on Sunday on the Moorsbus and one shut the window!

Its allowed so long as they're not pumping gas in.

Am sure I remember a different service 193 a few years ago, that did Whitby-Bridlington. Or maybe I'm just showing my age and it was United that did it! lol
Caught 7487 to Scarborough yesterday and 7405 back. I tell you which was the most comfortable and it wasn't 7405. All the trouble they went fitting them headrests and they're neither use nor ornament!
Looks like the 6 is going to be launched as Sapphire in the next few weeks and will be launched by a mystery VIP celebrity.
