So pleased the 93/94 will stop outside my part of the College again. Be a shame if 542 gets withdrawn though.
9104 is now parked up in the yard at Hexham depot although it currently lacks a ticket machine.
4948 failed in Gateshead around 08:00am.

Will it be returning to deptford

No.

The arrival of 9104 at Hexham has released MPD 559 for cascade. Although presently at Riverside Depot, it is due to transfer to Deptford.

Ok so 559 will be replacing 548

No - 548 has a while left yet. Smile

Will 542 be withdrawn when the 93S finishes?

I hope it transfers to Stanley to prevent 547 going on the ventures or 16

I was lucky to see all 3 but i saw 4929 at the bottom of South Moor, then passed what looked like 4930 (could make out what i thout was an ETN in the reg and no, it wasnt 4896) on what appeared to be a 78 that i thought was Stanley operated (07:55 from Consett). Then obviously, i saw 3878 coming in just as i was about to walk into the building at school.

Just a quick update on this:

This morning, i passed the same journey and 5401 was allocated meaning that this journey is indeed operated by Chester-le-Street. This therefore confirms that 4930 was not on loan to Stanley. The journey around that time when the B10s were on there was operated by Stanley depot so automatically thought that it was still operated by Stanley.

Stanley don't need another MPD, we'd just get more complaints about it working peak time journeys on the 6/X70/X71. [emoji30]

Why does Deptford need a extra MPD anyway, if its not replacing anything?

How do you know that there won't be something cascading out of Deptford in return?

Well sorry for asking.

Don't be sorry Michael, he's the one being cocky, I believe it's for an extra for the 700.

No-one's told me what 559 is for, was just guessing as there's only a couple of routes it could be for.

It couldn't be used on the 700, as it's only Euro 4. Service 700 is contractually required to be operated by a Euro 5 vehicle.

Modifications?

I think it could act as a spare for the 38/238 or possibly 33/33A/39.

Mpds also run on the 99 and 701

Isn't the 99 allocated MPD's? Also 628 is allocated to the 701 unless it's required on the 700.

They are, as Biglugs said. =)
