Yes - it'll be an AD122 branded example, which has been released from Hexham until Easter 2017 when the AD122 contract commences again. Stephen is correct - it will allow Volvo B10BLE 4912 to be withdrawn. It should be allocated to service 19 on weekdays, and service 434 on Saturdays.

3858 and 5159 are being dismantled for spare parts at Percy Main. They will both be sold for scrap, when all required parts have been removed.
Still no pics of 628!
A question about the short peak time x21s between Durham and Newcastle - what route does it run on to after aroving at Eldon square on the morning peak and what does it come in as on the afternoon peak?

Both run light to Gateshead Metro and operate a 94 to Team Valley before running dead back to the depot for 0905 and 0925 respectively.

The three afternoon peak journeys: 889 Park View North Lodge-Urpeth Grange, 91 Team Valley-Newcastle Pilgrim St, then 1720 X21 to Durham (1813 at Durham and 1828 back at depot); 888 Park View Church Chare-Bournmoor, 93 Team Valley South-Gateshead Metro and 1650 X21 to Durham (1743 at Durham and 1758 back at depot). The third escapes me.

Will it be unbranded or not? Can't see the point myself unless the branding is going to be changed.

I was going to ask the same thing Tom.

Where will the other AD122 solo end up?

Spare at Hexham maybe.

5322 has failed in Heworth.

EDIT: 5317 has pulled up behind 5322 with an engineer so looks to be the replacement. Not a good day on the 57..

A lot like the Sun FM branding, I was thinking of something like that.

From the picture, although its not the best photo, the new "Go North East" livery looks good, much better than the plain boring red one.
Don't like the new livery looks more like a Sun FM bus than a corporate livery.

I believe that one of the features of the 'fuel-saving' modifications was changing the drive to the engine cooling fan so that the fan didn't draw power constantly, but only when needed.
3941 seems to be constantly driving the fan at high speed (based on the noise) whenever it is above idle revs.
This cannot be fuel-efficient.

It'll look like a corporate livery when all of the vinyls are on as it probably won't feature a Sun FM sticker.

Better than the "Plain Red" livery, which was almost slagged off everyday on here by members of the fourm.

Ye, Dan said these would be applied at a later date, hopefully sooner, rather than later.

Nothing what Go North East does pleases people, they can't win.

Can't see any posts every few days, moaning about Arriva over using the MAX, Sapphire and now the Frequenta brands on their routes....
