570 failed in Columbia, I'd only just had it 40-45 minutes before hand.
Not a good day for Dennis Darts. I really must track down 570 one day, it is one if my favourite vehicles in the Go Ahead fleet. Not as good as 3964 though.

Speaking of vehicles breaking down, Quaylink branded 8317 looked as if it had a mechanical issue of some sort earlier this evening.
Why has 4919 been withdrawn again?
The 67 & 69 are funny routes as they potter around Gateshead mostly unnoticed as they don't serve the town centre, with generic red buses.
Do you think they could ever become Indigo routes with Optare Solos, or are loadings too high?
Seen a Solo getting repainted earlier does Any body know which one?

Solo SR 696 has now been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery.
4963 has left Washington - it is currently undergoing repairs at Saltmeadows Road and on completion will be transferred to Percy Main.
603 has now transferred to Deptford prior to onward transfer to Peterlee. This will allow MPD 550 to be withdrawn.
Dependent on vehicle availability, 6050 should be going to Saltmeadows Road for repaint today.

Better Washington meets PVR than leaving customers stranded at bus stops, eh?

I think it's being kept in service until 9099 is repaired - it was off the road yesterday.

What is the reason for no NSAs on TENs?

Getting updated?
A red arrow decker has smoke coming out of it today.
Seen a friend's video on Facebook showing two fire engines attending.

When have GNE got 9099 until
Have GNE sent some guru, or started bribing drivers at Chester?
For a whole week. They've never stopped being friendly and smiling...it's unnerving
Even that massively miserable woman who practically forensically checks each pass managed a smile.
It's unnerving!

Seems like its the same at Washington!
Post on facebook:
I don't know if it's the new indigo buses in washington or if the staff room coffees been spiked but the customer service lately has been great, most drivers have been greeting passengers with good manners and sometimes even crack a smile
they have all lowered the bus so I can get my pram on with ease and I witnessed one driver get out of his cubicle to help an elderly man onto the bus even tho he was running late.
A smile and good manners cost nothing so well done to those putting them into practice I hope the rest follow your shining example

Care to share the video?

Reminders of the great fire of dipton. Had to wait until the news for the video even though I was there to see the thing myself. 3863 was just idle, in the middle of the road as if it was doing a routine passenger drop off. 4 people and a driver got off and it randomly set on fire a minute later.
Anyway, I would only watch the video if it were to be on youtube anyway, haha. Divent like facebook much like.

It had the full window at the rear, on the current set of omnidekkas about 2/3rds of it is obscured by the engine mechanics. May just be a difference in bodies with a facelift, but I'm hazarding a guess at it being 3867. Maybe someone knows.

It would more than likely be an Omnidekka then since 3866/3867 have their windows painted/paneled over.
