A double decker was in the pits this evening, looking like it was getting the new livery.

Could it not have just been getting a new panel fitted?

Oh right, my apologies. It may have been 6100, I believe that is the sun FM bus.

I wasn't sure what one it was. Couldn't have been 6100 because it was on the 56 just before I passed Saltmeadows.

Just another note, 6099 is the Sun FM bus you're on about.
Could even have been one of the Omnidekkas (6141/2/4)

Thanks for that, I'm often getting them two mixed up.
Hi,

628 has been moved from round the side when I passed about about 17:00, not sure if it's been moved inside or back to Deptford.

The decker in the paint shop appeared to be one of the latest B&H arrivals and the front red looked complete and the rear end showing the basecoat primer grey.

Also of note was 7101 in the yard of Albany Motors, no idea why it's been sent there.

Probably tachograph repairs. Albany Motors fit and repair them.

628 was taken back to Deptford at 15:30.

Optare Solos 701 - 703 have entered service at Washington Depot on "indiGo" services 85/86.

Optare Solo 704 is still undergoing some preparation for service at Washington, following inspection. It's likely to enter service on Friday, but this is subject to change.

Where will the MPD's end up?

I can't remember if someone said or not....

603-606 are likely to be distributed amongst different depots to allow the withdrawal of older MPDs.

640 was route learning around North Shields this morning with several drivers on board- I'm assuming this confirms that the 9s are transferring to Deptford?

That looks really smart! I think it suits the Solos more than the Solo SRs.
560 failed this afternoon, saw it being recovered back towards Riverside.

I saw 628 out today and I must say I like it, the first thing that came to mind though was the new livery colours looks so much the old Go Ahead Gateshead. Great choice!

Good shout, modern twist on the old X66 too (the Optare and DAF years)

Always did like the yellow, red and blue livery from the 90s
