Yeah, they will be able to use their Nectar points at Sainsburys and tickets on VTEC, however you will need to spend quite a bit more on tickets to get the same free tickets through the current Reward scheme.

255pts on the current scheme would get you a free standard single, to anywhere on the network.
It will get you a sandwich from Sainsburys under the new scheme.
Apparently a focus group approved a scheme which could be used in a wide range of situations.
They obviously didn't realise how bad it would get
VTEC are offering a points amnesty, where 1 reward point, would be worth 6 Nectar.
My 1200pts would get me 2 first class singles and just fall short of a standard single as it stands.
Or, if I take up the offer 7,200 Nectar points (equiv to £72 at Sainsburys).

What exactly is happening with EC Rewards, someone was telling me recently VTEC will honour rewards outstanding for a while...

Aye, quite a few, but I do most of the bookings for anyone going for meetings, so the points soon mount up...or should I say they did until 23.59 tonight!

Quite possible, but when you look at it, it does look like Sunderland on the map is between Newcastle and Morpeth.

The issue is that the map is geographically incorrect - the line which comes up from Newcastle and across to Sunderland should in fact go back down again so that the map is geographically correct. Sunderland is not situated in between Newcastle and Morpeth...

I couldn't tell you (I dropped Geography at the end of Year 9 for a reason), but I'd guess not! The map is pretty condensed down in Yorkshire, though, so I'd put it down to wishing to retain a good layout. Up north, we don't have that issue, so it comes across as a mistake.
Surely it's just for illustrative purposes though? At the same time, the X1 map shows Mount Pleasant and Fatfield Bridge between Philadelphia and Herrington Burn.

That map is for two separate routes though? If thats the case, after the place the routes divide from eachother, one route has nothing to do with the other.
