Wonder where they'll end up?

I'm trying to think of suitable Newcastle routes for them, I'd imagine they'd be too small for the 6/12 or 57. The Ms maybe, but the Versas don't seem too bad on them.

Wonder if they'll get retrimmed and usb ports added. Maybe even get some proper seat backs on them!

The fact they can be upgraded to Euro 6 is what got me settled on a Newcastle route, they would work well on the 61 and 33 however I agree.

I suppose the beauty of the fact they’re getting painted in fleet livery gives some flexibility in where they are allocated.

The Clean Air Zone has been postponed for the foreseeable.

If it comes out again in future, there’ll likely be more government funding available for local authorities to bid for and work with operators... At which point they could be fitted and re-allocated if required.

Do Euro 6 mods have any negative impacts on the vehicles, ie. less performance or less fuel economy?
"QuayLink" was conceived as a frequent, high quality bus service, for the newly developed and expanding Quayside area. Despite being located a short distance from the town centres of Newcastle and Gateshead, the area was poorly served by public transport. Now in its fifteenth year, albeit on a revised route compared to when it first launch, service Q3 is to be re-branded from "QuayLink" to "Quaycity", acknowledging the growing focus of the route changing from the Newcastle Quayside, to the City Centre itself, with an expanding hospitality sector in the city. As such, this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service, allowing the repaint of this vehicle at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn, and seat re-trim/USB charging point fitment, at Saltmeadows Road's bodyshop facility.

The Quaylink is undergoing a rebrand for the Q3 services.

Meanwhile, I'm just on the coffee!
Just spent more than I'd like to admit on a new coffee machine, I can now relegate the Nespresso machine to the office so I don't have to traipse downstairs for a drink!

I tried to make something just as awful visually but that would also actually fit in with their other liveries. My eyes are actually burning from all those colours

If there are any rebrands that haven't been started yet, I'd love to help out.

That actually looks very good! I wouldn't put under X-Lines though, perhaps just 'X66' would suffice.

For the Cobalt & Coast considering the competition on the Coast Road, could one of the spare Volvo B9TL's not be put into a promotional X-Lines livery to promote the links from Newcastle as a USP against Arriva?

"Connect in Newcastle for frequent, rapid links across the North East"

"Frequent, rapid links to the MetroCentre, County Durham, Wearside and Teesside"

For some reason, I have the urge to prove you wrong, you can do anything in PowerPoint if you have enough time!

Yeah, that's why I didn't bother putting the X-lines logo on, maybe they could have a 'Little X-Lines' brand for the express routes that aren't good enough to be X-Lines!

Yea it was a 5min jobby while I was bored. Yea believe MG said it wouldnt qualify as Xlines as not interurban route
Could always do a refreshed version of the brand the X66 used when it was Grey
