22437 is now in for repaint after reports of it having a thermal fire and had major repairs
Scania Gas Bus 28021 has been painted out of it's original livery into dishwasher tablet livery. You would think that since they were getting sold they wouldn't be repainted.

Doesn't look like the gas buses are actually going anywhere does it? We'll see what happens when Newcastle gets it's new E400MMCs but I'm starting to doubt whether they're actually going at all.
Have any been withdrawn, as well what are the buses which are meant to replace them?
People were claiming that they were withdrawn with the recent service changes except most of them reappearing in services within a few days.
28035-40 have been sort of withdrawn - they're off the road and round the back, earmarked for whoever's bought them, but they are available if they're absolutely desparate.
As for replacement, probably more E300s from Scotland, and displaced deckers from Newcastle when the MMCs come in.
If First have brought the gas buses, then it would be likely they will be off to Bristol as that's the only operation of First that has Biogas buses running.
Is 10000 getting a repaint as someone said on Bustimes they said it was on for a repaint. Is this true?
28034 has gone in for repaint, bringing down the curtain on the old blue livery.

Is the 400MMC with blue headlight surrounds ever going to have them corrected back to black?
I see a number of the repainted MANs at Teesside have been listed for disposal without ever even returning to service following repaint. What a waste

depends on weather the said vehicles are transfering to other stagecoach companies or are for disposal. If they are going to other stagecoach companies then it is not a waste.

Depends on budgets and how they're worked.
If the paint has come out of the Stockton budget and they're not getting reimbursement for it, then it may be classed as a waste.

I believe they are kaput. Maybe a fresh coat of paint increases scrap value.

36479 had damaged panels refitted.
19672 due paint as all in 19670-83 batch, wait and see what happens with them.

How many panels were damaged? The entire bus looks like it’s been rubbed down.

Full repaint, lower panels were replaced but on the rota 36479 would have been due anyway
I mean at first i didnt see the point in 19670 and 19672 needing to be repainted, but i guess if theyre destined for elsewhere in the country then they'll want em looking like they were all repainted round about the same time

Really? It's only been done for just over 2 years and there's plenty of the Shields fleet that were done prior to 36479 haven't been redone. Not to mention all the 2016 MMCs that are getting on for 7-8 years without repaint
