Cash-flow issues?
5400 was badly damaged whilst in store at Chester depot

Resourcing issues maybe?
Could the 58 still be artics today? Or was the route changed to where they could no longer be?
It could still be artics, just that articulated buses are nortoiously heavy drinkers of fuel with MPG being in single figures hence why they were replaced.
Long time VOR 6337 has been moved from the maintenance bays to the rear of the depot, normally where the VOR buses are stored outdoors.

Could the venture brand be going? As there are plenty of Purples Solos free now (3) which I think is the full PVR of Venture network, plus you've got some Pinks free too & a blonde.
However I would keep 2x Purples & Blonde (painted into corporate) at Deptford, 2x Pinks at Washington, there should be 3/4 spare to go onto the V1/V2/V5.
Tbf half the time V1/V2 have deckers.

Ventures seem to be appearing almost daily on 78s these days. The East Yorkshire livered B9 decker at Consett was on the V1 as well
in fairness the 78 can't be a decker, but that doesn't stop them taking a 66' plate off the 6, and putting on the 78, then the 6 gets the decker and V1 can get the solo.
But i guess thats too much work, so people can enjoy being rammed into a solo

78 has had a decker a few times

That was before the route was changed to go back through Pelton
5401 (Old Durham Culture Bid livery) was on a test drive at Sunderland in its corporate livery.
What buses are going to Percy Main for the 1's extension? Are they getting the Ex-Quacity Versas? Or Are they getting some more Streetlites?

Probably more StreetLite. Can't wait to see the amount of breakdowns
The 17/66 plates are horrendous for it 9 out of 40 are off.
Nearly 1 in 4
Does anyone know why 5370 and 5372 are off? (Both Drifters)
As well as why 6178, and 6182 are off. (Both Voyager Geminis)
5370/72 are off due to engine problems, repeatedly being reported by driver's for having no power

72 is understandable, it's so slow, and 5369 is bad as well, but with 5370 I am surprised, always felt it was better than 69.
Wonder what's happened to 6101. Hasn't been on the road since beginning of march
6328 an Angel hasn't been on since mid-Feb.
Some of the ADL Enviro 400 from London haven't been on in months, 6964 in early December, 6960 in early Nov, and 6950 in early Jan.
Not to mention the 59,60 Plate B9s. 6198 hasn't been on since Sept, and 6199 hasn't been on since mid-October. 6200 from early November. 6206 since 23rd Dec. 6213 since October.
And 6336 hasn't been one is then 10th of march. And 684 (Little Pinks) hasn't been on since October as well.

Not all of the 59/60 plate B9s have arrived - all of those you mention have been ticket machine programming issues, the bus was never here!
6964 has been awaiting a part for a repair.

It's been off since January ticket machine was moved to 6330 but fleet number wasn't changed for a few days.
It's currently receiving a new engine

6178 is awaiting a rear axle and 6182 is at Volvo for replacement engine.
What's happened to 5400 lol? Looks like it's been dragged through a hedge

It was stored at Chester depot when it closed in September and was heavily damaged by youths that broke in. Only came back into service on Monday
