Understand they were originally for Wakefield with their Streetdecks cascading northwards to Durham - the order was diverted when the troubles at Wakefield depot became clear.
1354 55 have left the north east
How many E200 MMC's are transferring to Stockton for the Yarm fair do we know?

2701/3/4 were all on-loan to Stockton for Yarm Fair yesterday - 2704 had been on-loan for a fortnight for familiarisation purposes with 1554 at Darlington in its place. For yesterday, 1454 and 1564 were additionally loaned to Darlington (despite the PVR reduction at both depots meaning technically Darlington required no vehicles in exchange). They will more than likely be returning to or will have already returned to their normal depots today.

Saw a post from the duty manager at Southport, saying the 09/59s plates there are due to go to Derby and they're going in the next 2 weeks.

Ah fair. Be interesting to see how Arriva Derby can spin off these 'newer' buses. Not sure a 09 Plate Pulsar is what exactly you call newer from a 58 Plate Omnicity. Sounds like someone has set thereselves for an own goal.

I mean if we're being very literal about it then 09 plate Pulsars are newer than 58 plate Scanias.
I imagine the Pulsars will also be significantly more reliable, better to drive, and more comfortable from a passenger POV compared to an Omnicity, if the 05/07 plate ones up here were anything to go by at the end.

Scraping the barrel though mind. Guess it depends how they've looked after them, just checking on BusTimes, obviously not the most reliable thing, and they all seemed to be out today. The ones up here had quite a hard life in comparison aswell doing the X93 and 685 and the Darlington rural routes which aren't easiest things around. Plus just being based at Darlington and Redcar is bad enough.
It's not a surprise that the Streetlite's that neither of them could keep on the road have suddenly become fine when they've left. Not to mention the state of the Solo's which turned up from there.

Streetlite are designed for the likes if city's or large towns areas not cut out for steap hill's

Part the reason for them going was they were negatively viewed upon by the drivers, so good chance even older Pulsar's are seen as an improvement.
I imagine the fact they're a non standard type within the Arriva fleet now is also reason to want to see them off, much like with the Temsas at Redcar or Tempos in Yorkshire, likely making parts difficult to source and/or an unnecessary expense.
There are rumours going around that North West are getting some streetlites from somewhere in the North East, is there any truth in this?

Yes, 10 of the ex-Redcar Streetlites are due to move to Merseyside in the new year I understand.
7427 as turned up at Ashington depot this morning as a short-term thing

I assume that there must be something else coming to Stockton, otherwise the fleet there is going to be like a heritage fleet?
Hopefully not some more antique Pulsars, and it's something better like the ex. Fastrack E200MMC's which I don't believe have a home yet.

I’d imagine it’ll be a straight swap with Merseyside for elderly Pulsars. Midlands and Yorkshire got robbed last time so I guess it’s NE’s turn this time!

They will probs sent some Pulsar 1's up or some outdated E200's knowing Arriva. They may even send up Kent's Dennis Darts xD. Thats a joke but to be fair Stockton are in need of some New vehicles so maybe they're getting some Evora's or Some MMC's. I personally think it will be newer vehicles as replacing Stocktons youngest vehicles with will what become Stocktons Oldest vehicles will be the most pointless thing todo. However, they also may send up some 61,12,13 or 14 Plated Pulsar 2's which will be cool to see.

Yeah I think they'll send some old Pulsars up aswell to be honest. Mind Stockton is desperate for something newer. They've got some decent routes really and they're being ran with old buses. The fact their newest bus is nearly 10 year old is embarrassing really and half of them only turned up because Redcar couldn't keep them on the road.
The fact the vast majority of the network didn't get decimated with COVID, I'd assume, would say the routes aren't doing too bad either.

Actually Redcar are getting newer for the x4 Stockton aren't getting anything new as this list of the orders has been mentioned If u look further up hopefully that helps plus streetlites where become a problem for Redcar so I totally agree with 1560 .73 been at Stockton as no steap hilly work for them it should of happened a few year's back when the lites started to struggle

Aye, they're not new the Fastrack vehicles.
There's 17x 17/67 Plate E200MMC's and 7x 15 Plate Streetlite's down in Thameside which are surplus for requirements, next week I believe actually, as they've lost the contract and as far as I'm aware no-one has claimed them yet.
https://bustimes.org/operators/arriva-ke...e/vehicles - Can see them listed there.
(I don't expect them up here though really but they could displace something else up, depending where they go - possibly)

I heard St Helens depot was due some 17 plate E200MMCs, don't know if it's these ones you mention or anything else.
7511 was sat in Castleford Depot's yard yesterday
Anyone know anything about this?

It’s surplus to North East requirements now, after the arrival of the MMCs, believe it’s a transfer down there but could be wrong.

If its a transfer it automatically becomes the 2nd oldest bus in the Yorkshire fleet lol.

Yeah could be. I haven't heard anything about where they're going so could be anywhere tbh.
7511 as reported to leave the north east for Yorkshire
Been told 7511 is to tall for Yorkshire so it has been sent back and 7514 could be going in its place.
So what did the 14 E400 MMC's at Durham replace. I know the B7's but what else got withdrawn?
Also what is replacing the E300's which were at Darlo?

1437, 1465, 1466 and 7521 have transferred from Durham to Darlington and are tracking in service.
Does anyone know if anything this moving North to Ashington, even on temporary loan, for the Sunday changes?
They're struggling to run the full service as it is without a PVR increase due to vehicle shortages hence the B7 being there.
