Either way, irrespective of the song quality, it will make a ton of money for a very worthwhile cause, it amazes me how even when as a country we aren't in the best shape financially, people can still find money to help those who are far worse off.
Charity starts at home first, not wanting to sound harsh.
It does, times are getting hard, everything going up.
Loving this years festive offering from The Killers.
Does anyone like 5 Seconds of Summer? I saw a bunch of girls at school today having a go at a boy who was dissing them. Pretty scary; they're just a band!
Listened to some of their songs just now, absolute rip-offs! Nothing nobody has never done before, hell they've practically copied off some other bands according to a few lads I know!
Anyone else's opinions on them? I don't like them.

I'm not that certain who they are but from what I've seen they are just one of these awful manufactured boy bands that are put together for their looks so little girls will buy their music and idolise them so the record company's can make money off them.
Doesn't one of them often wear a headband, I wonder because I've seen a few people walking around with headbands and since when did that become fashionable.
Marcus you have mentioned this band a lot on here, are you just saying you hate them but when no-ones around you just start singing one of their songs.

I completely agree, One Direction all over again!! I'm not too sure who any of them are honestly, I know one has a lip ring that makes him look camp as Christmas (I hear he's the 'leader', bit like that Harry kid in One Direction!). Another seems to have the weirdest hairstyle in the world, looks like someone's poured acid into his hair and he's just used it as shampoo!!
Don't like them at all, the only thing I ever hear when I talk to any girl at school is 'oh my god Luke the Penguin is so fit'. Personally I think it's almost 'brainwashing' young girls!

It's been fashionable since the 1980s!!
Now here's a man who can carry-off wearing a headband fashionably!
Found these on my playlist from the school days, although i'm straight they have some good songs out... here is 2 of them.........
Scissor Sisters - Filthy/Gorgeous - (explicit version, video includes 2 men kissing, if you're offended then don't watch)

Scissor Sisters - 06 - Tits on the Radio - (No video was ever released for it but here's a fan made one) -

It sounds quite similar to this - http://youtu.be/-UVzXh4ixhs
Which led to me to reminisce about some of these - http://youtu.be/N4aXZZ08gTk with a bit of Gerald Sinstadt, Barry Davies and Nayim lobbing Seaman from the half way line thrown in!
Yeah, there are some similarities aren't there? Never really noticed until now.
I quite like New Order. To paraphrase Alan Partridge, they're the band Joy Division could have been!

Quite often I will hear Regret and start singing Life of Riley and vice versa.
New Order (and Joy Division), have some of my favourite songs - including this:

Probably the best World Cup song ever produced in my opinion.
She's Lost Control and Lost Souls are probably my favourite Joy Division tunes. For New Order, it has to be Here to Stay and Vanishing Point.
John Barnes rap makes that video.
Hadn't heard this for ages, then shuffle has thrown it out quite a bit recently - so may have mentioned this one already.
Apologies if so...

"Rhythm is a dancer, smoking gives you cancer, needles give you HIV".
Dunno who adapted the lyrics, but always sing the alternative version
A few friends were having this discussion earlier. Can you name 3 (and only 3) songs/tunes/whatever, from 3 different periods of your life? It takes a degree of honesty, but it'll be interesting to see how people's music tastes have changed!
In regards to the topic posted above:
This was a favourite from when I was about 8 (embarrassing to say)
When I was about 15 I went through a bit of a phase of wearing black and listening to mainly emo / rock stuff like this.
This is probably one of my favourite songs of 2014 (aged 20)
I didn't massively bother with music when I was really young, the first album I ever got was The Prodigy's Experience album (got it from Our Price too - blast from the past!
), as a couple of my mates were older, and also had it. It would have been around 1995 time, as I know Music for the Jilted Generation was out at the same time. My two favourite tunes from Experience would be 'Everybody in the Place', and 'Out of Space'. I'll go with the latter though!

Second is a difficult one too, but I started secondary school in 1997, around the time that there was a big Happy Hardcore boom. The majority of my friends at school would be listening to it, on their Sony Walkman, with the latest cassette they'd acquired from an older sibling. One that stands out though, is from the original Bonkers album cassettes that I had back then.

Finally, I'll go with something that was released whilst I was still at college. Oceanlab - Satellite. I was really into trance back then, and I searched high and low to find a copy of this on vinyl. I still have that promo copy to this day, and still think it's one of the best trance tracks ever released.

WTF...?
Bazza, I don't know what to say...
On another note....wondering if anyone here likes David Soul, I absolutely love some of his songs, and before anyone asks, it had nothing to do with him being in a National Express ad.
Bought David Guetta's album today, after I'd heard What I Did For Love earlier in the month, I listened to some more of the tracks and quite enjoyed them, so I thought I may as well buy it.
Also bought Radio 1's Live Lounge 2014, I've heard quite a few Live Lounge recordings this year and they've all been to a really high standard, and after listening to the album today I really wasn't disappointed.
A few tracks from both that stood out:
(Can't find a YouTube link for What I Did For Love, but as it was the reason I listened to more, it's fair to say it stood out)
David Guetta ft. Sia - Bang My Head

David Guetta ft. Nico & Vinz, Ladysmith Black Mambazo - Lift Me Up

Really didn't expect to like some of the covers, as I'd disliked the original versions, but they really surprised me.
