Not doing it!
No way do I want that as an earworm at bedtime. I've just been listening to some Captain Beefheart. My favourite title on the compilation might just be "The Past Sure is Tense".

As long as Mr Rahman's zip shop advert didn't get sampled. All is ok!
edit: For those unfamiliar with Mr Rahman - this advert (
https://youtu.be/46dUJ1sHrJ8) was as exciting as it got!

Eeee, someone could do so much with that
All this talk of zones, Twilight Zone, and Tony running out of Zones, got me thinking of this classic:
Enjoy

If only, is he in business
I don't usually like folk-based music, but there's something bout mysterious and familiar about this band.
Just who are The FLK?
Decent video to go with the tune as well, especially the ending which gives a little nod towards RUN-DMC.

I actually met one of the cast members from that series ironically enough he was in Coronation Street playing Sean Tully's Dad in the soap he was also in Purely Belter playing Jerry McCarten's evil dad and he is currently in Benidorm playing Les/Leslie in the series that was Tim Healy back in 2013 I was at the Airport about to board a flight to Florida and happen to bump into him thanks to my dad for noticing
For a run down of what us oldies are listening to, this evening. Each subsequent CD (I said I was old, but big'un prefers CDs, too) has been accompanied by its own glass of port
Goldfrapp - the Singles - and some very bad singing along

And, now, Gong - Angels Egg. Only bought this one recently. Took a break from it because of some painful associations, but I'm far enough along, now, to say blow it (only less politely) because I do love it musically.

I NEVER play this one with the boys around. Its both rude and druggy.
I don't really know where to put this as it is really random but also makes me happy and amused.
I love the old Transformers (G1) cartoons and I really like some of old theme-tunes (both intro and outro) to other cartoons from the 80's and early 90's.
So when one of my Facebook friends posted a band performing the outro to The Racoons while, at the same time, doing cosplay as characters from the old Transformers cartoon - I had to take a look.

Egads! The thought of energy drinks in the evening makes me feel quite queasy!
6 Music has just played the B52s' Planet Claire
Have been very gingerly (see annoyed thread) been jiggling along to it.

In the early 00's, there was a 'Beachball' mash up doing the rounds. Still one of the best imo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bznEEnjc78Y
To be fair, I probably linked a random remix, over the version I had.
Still a belter like.
Can't remember the mash up at all.
