Erm, I think I'll pass, if you don't mind.

Enjoying a selection of some rather lovely guitar stuff on the radio. Didn't catch what the first one was, the second was a rag, played by Stefan Grossman and now Mountain by Cold Cold Heart is on. All very different and very enjoyable, in their own right.

I got a refreshing change of music at the gym tonight, instead of playing the usual mix dance and RnB stuff, we got treated to some metal, including:

Motorhead - Ace of Spades.
Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee.

Thinking again that I might pass on that. Tongue I 've had enough need for brain bleach already, today.

Listening to King Crimson - Islands. Not my favourite of their albums, but there's some proper filthy sax on it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqYN3TLERZE - K-Rose was on a video game i used to play GTA San Andreas i often sang these in school
I had a short ride on the Gateshead Central Taxis service 643 earlier and it was blasting out Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Big Grin
Achy Breaky Heart!

I've decided to listen to at least one song by every artist in alphabetical order on my iPod. It's proving to be fun so far, currently up to Brandon Flowers which will be followed by The Bravery, Bright Eyes then Bring Me the Horizon.
Bit of The Prodigy tonight - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmin5WkOuPw
Xray Spex Germ Free Adolescents.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiWOuGC7Qy0

Ordered the album after hearing Neneh Cherry covering the title track on the radio the other night and remembering how much I love Poly Styrene's voice.

Most of the album isn't the safest music to tackle my ironing pile to, mind Big Grin

I like a bit of Poly Styrene.

Only got into X-Ray Spex within the last decade or so after accidentally catching Oh Bondage Up Yours! on TOTP2.

Relatively recent for me, too. I was in primary school during the punk era and was more likely to be sticking it with gummed paper than sticking it to the man!

Prog is actually my true musical love of the moment (I was in Kindergarten when most of that was out and one of my favourite albums is a day older than I am!) but I do occasionally enjoy something a little more raucous and less navel gazing.
I was flitting about in the car earlier on and was desperately trying to find something worth listening to.

Stumbled in to Radio 2 and then this ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9CFcu8JRwAU) came on.
I am ashamed to say, I didn't change the station until AFTER the song had finished.
You should be ashamed. Sunday Radio 2 is dire!

It didn't go on, on purpose.
I had felt all mascuiline with my bits of wood and DIY paraphanalia in the car.
Then that came on...

Wood and DIY paraphernalia?

'Tis teh middle age. Catching, it is. Almost everyone is afflicted, in the end.
Lionel Richie =)
