Still expecting a cheesy launch outside Barry's Bargains with Ventureman (pants on the outside for effect) launching it.

Saying that, it is nice for Derwentside to get new vehicles.
It must be 7 years since the last new vehicles were stabled at Stanley.
Can someone please post the latest list of buses which have yet to be re-painted?

Any news on fleet changes this week, with re-paints coming back etc?

Well, it certainly is close but i think the Venture stnds out more. At least the livery isnt an exact copy of another brands (Coaster and Drifter, TynedaleXpress and Citylink)

While we wait...

I managed to get a photograph of green MPD 512 and "Venture" MPD 516 facing their replacement, 641, at Stanley depot yesterday. This photograph can be viewed by clicking the link below:

Not so sure they'll be gone that soon, there's still a fair few within the fleet, East Durham & North Tyne Links most noticeably. Not sure if GNE will invest in these service that soon, there's also OK Way & TyneDale links. After Solo and more MPD movements I should think there will be 44 MPD's still in service, that'll be a lot of investment and imagine GNE's focus for 2014 maybe replacing some Ex-Oxford renowns as they aren't DDA approved.
Ex drifters won't be getting simplicity branded today spotted one on 42 earlier
I think Go North East should advertise the ''TEN'' services from Newcastle to Metrocentre. When I used the 10B yesterday, there wasn't many people using the link from Newcastle to Metrocentre. The services have comfortable seats, free wi-fi and power sockets unlike the 100, so these services should appeal to the customers.

I think the return from Newcastle to Metrocentre is cheaper on the ''TEN'', or any other Go North East services too. It is £3.80 on the 100, in comparison to £3.40 on the ''TEN''.
Are the omnicitys getting repainted ready for transfer to chesterlee street for 50

I am not new to this forum, I view it regularly. But this is the first time I have replied. The comment about the TEN vs 100 is a valid point as the Go North East vehicles are far superior. That is why the 10 & 10A leave Eldon Square with Metrocentre and Hexham or Metrocentre and Rockwood Hill on the destination display. It is to encourage and promote passenger usage between Newcastle and Metrocentre. After that the blinds revert to normal.

From personal use i used the 100 while working at the Metrocentre for nearly 4years, For the reason that you can use the Dayriders on any stagecoach bus, Most people get off at blackett street (12,39,40,62,63,X63) and hop straight on the 100. Only time I would use the 10 is on a sunday morning, when the 100 doesnt start until 9, Most people of that would be people I would see on the 100, was really weird, could never figure out why they wouldnt have an earlier service, however Im off topic now haha ...
Lilac versa on 4 this morning
I've just read about a bit branding in Rare & Odd Workings.

Got me thinking about the old Black Cats Brand with yellow base. I loved that livery!

3819 is not a Gateshead bus

Durham council require 77 sweaters minimum for school buses which a president does not meet. This is why some nv class Olympians were moved around years back as they had differing layouts amongst the batch.
