Dan just to let you know you still have 547 allocated to Peterlee on the fleet list.
I wonder if Go North East will change the taglines on the 'Red Kite' branded vehicles will be updated to show something like 'Newcastle - Metrocentre - Rowlands Gill - Up to every 10 minutes'
Just a shot in the dark here - I wonder if the Citaros could go on the 5 and 4978-82 can all go on the 57.

I think that would be unlikely as they were RELATIVELY recently repainted, Citaros are more likely, plus the Eclipses are of similar nature of the solars that started the brand

Maybe the Fab Fifty Seven livery may be dropped and the 5 might get a new branding.

That could happen; however, the same thing applies, it used to be South Tyne and that was dropped 2 years ago, and if it got a new brand it would have an awufl name

I think we all know they are probably for the 57, it was just a shot in the dark.

It could have a good brand name if GNE decided to do that, the last 5 or so brands GNE have done, they've been good.

No, no, Michael... You're wrong - all the recent brands are absolutely hideous because they have no meaning, and someone needs to speak to the person who designed them...  Rolleyes

Now if the like system was still in place, you'd have one from me.

On a different note, do Go North East brand vehicles up early (using the Toon Links as an example) early to advertise the services even more (and maybe make it out to customers that service changes are coming) or is it just because it will be less convenient to do so closer to the time of the changes?

Slap on the back of the wrist for me..! I was just complaining about others making sly digs the other day. Tongue

There's 40 to 50 vehicles to vinyl up before the changes at the end of the month. It'd be impossible to get it all done in one night, and I'd suggest it's probably best to have the branding in place ready for the changes rather than weeks afterwards. Even though the branding company have been in more or less every night recently, I think they'll be lucky to get every bus branded in time for the changes!
Does the buses to be branded include 5401 or will it be like the Cobalt Clipper where a corporate liveried vehicle (B9) is allocated everyday? It still needs GNE logos like.

Is it only the 6,16/16A,X30 and X31 buses to be branded... along with 5293-5297 - where ever they are going...

Has anymore of 5294-97 been repainted?....

Due to a broken down bus on St. Michaels Way approaching Priestman roundabout, there are major delays to all services approaching Park Lane.

Services from Chester Road are diverted via The Royalty Gyratory system and Durham Road until the vehicle is recovered.

Good news, the broken down bus on St. Michaels Way, Sunderland has now been removed from the area.

I think it would have probably a case of one being held up as the one in front had broken down.
