I toyed with the idea on whether to go or not but decided to not to bother as I didn't see much point when they should be all out in service tomorrow and I would rather get photos of them in service.

Early Friday morning (about 7.45) a dedicated enthusiast in the same spot, much older with a long beard. Hippy ish look

I know who you're referring to, think they're Berwick locals they take photos of the Berwick services all the time.
I wonder if I'm going to end up being picked up on anyone's radar... I think I'm going to have to enable "super stealth" mode, like the internet does on the Red Kites.

You're probably safe from me at least though as I'm currently hiding somewhere along the X1 route.
