The new X65 is Stagecoach's first service into Meadowhall for many a year, running daily for the school holidays reverting to weekend only from September.

New 'hopper' service launches in the Ryedale area.
The latest new Enviro 200MMCs for East Yorkshire are (from 'EYMS Enthusiasts twitter):

510: YX17 NKE
511: YX17 NKF
512: YX17 NKG
513: YX17 NKH

Where they are allocated has not yet been revealed although I would suspect Scarborough as they still have 4 MPDs in service there.

888 has also been repainted into the same base livery as 887. While this may suggest it will be allocated to Scarborough as a Scarborough Skipper sharing the role with 887, it is more likely that it will be used on the Hull tour that they have recently registered.
The first of Yorkshire Tiger's new Enviro200MMCs for 'Flying Tiger' 737/747 (Leeds Bradford Airport to Bradford and Harrogate) has been spotted on delivery, a few days ago but they have only just put the photo up for reason explained in the caption

General question; Why is there an apparent "disconnect" between bus photographers and bus spotters? As with a certain photographer who specialises in buses at the other end of their life.......and the other end of Yorkshire!, here we have some hidden gems of info, which if someone has the time to scroll through hundreds, nay, thousands of miscellaneously displayed photos, could reveal a lot of info. In this case details of new buses for Arriva Yorkshire (main fleet) and Nottingham. Who knows, there may even be some new Stagecoach buses to be glimpsed in Scarborough.......................................

Arriva Yorkshire

A Family Fun Open Day is taking place on Sunday 25th June at Castleford Depot to launch the new batch of Enviro400MMCs which are in the process of delivery.

The batch of 37 is now confirmed to be allocated as followed:
Castleford depot for 'Sapphire' 163/166 (Leeds to Castleford) and 'MAX' 189 (Wakefield to Castleford and Leeds)
Heckmondwike depot for the 254/255 (Leeds to Dewsbury (254) or Halifax (255))

All are in the new fleet scheme (it's not a livery) - Castleford's Sapphire examples in the new Sapphire livery, the rest in the standard version despite having MAX interiors.

Is it known where the Tempos are going?

Some of the Tempos are destined for the North East - final figure not known. It is said that the remainder will remain in Yorkshire but moving to Tiger.

Castleford's Enviro400MMCs have entered service today.

1948-59/71 are in the new standard scheme (with MAX interiors) for the 189 (Wakefield to Castleford with half hourly extention to Leeds) with 1948-58 having standard purple route branding. The 189, which was originally due to be a MAX route, was originally to be the first 'Frequent' route but the new 'brands' have seemingly been dropped.

The Volvo B5LHs are going to lead to the withdrawal of the Spectras from the fleet, aren't they?

If so, does this mean that they are still currently in service?

Yes, the B5PHs - along with Geminis from Hekmondwike once their E400MMCs enter service - will allow for the replacement of the Spectras. However, I believe a number may be passing to Tiger

When you say "remaining"; what is happening to 1307-13? Also, has anyone got details of the new E200MMCs? The photos aren't reproducing too clearly, but look to include YX17 MJV & 'WKC, with no fleetnumbers mentioned.
