Bit like Nightengale with ex-GNE 3914. Also, I think it was 504 that had it but has it still got its 'Celebrating 100 years of service' sticker?

Anyway, getting back onto my original question. As shown here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ryanbus/13...ZTF-f5ARDa the bus still has the 'Celebrating 100 years of service' sticker on the window so i am just asking to see if anybody knows if its been removed yet.

Just found this on my hard drive! It's been scrapped now but Alrite Travel had this and I think P413VRG? Both ex Go North East and ran around in GNE livery for a few months.

These vehicles have been provisionally assigned the fleet numbers below in the Brighton & Hove fleet, but are subject to change:
  • 119 - BL57 OXK (arrived 18/04/2014)
  • 120 - BP57 UYE (not yet arrived as at 09/05/2014)
  • 121 - BP57 UYF (arrived 30/04/2014)
  • 122 - BP57 UYG (not yet arrived as at 09/05/2014)
  • 123 - BP57 UYH (arrived 30/04/2014)
  • 124 - BP57 UYJ (not yet arrived as at 09/05/2014)

These vehicles are to be converted to two-door configuration and repainted before entering service.

Delivered to Brighton & Hove in 2010/2011, the following similar articulated Citaros have been sold to the Optare Group from Brighton & Hove via Optare Direct likewise:
  • 101 - BX02 YZH (collected 17/04/2014)
  • 102 - BX02 YZM (collected 17/04/2014)
  • 103 - BX02 YZP (collected 30/04/2014)
  • 104 - BX02 YYW (collected 30/04/2014)
  • 115 - BX54 EFC (not yet collected as at 09/05/2014)
  • 118 - BX54 UCN (not yet collected as at 09/05/2014)

Arriva 4004 used to be a GNE if you look at the back the green paint is peeling off and reveals the yellow underneath

Yes, all of the S--- ONL DAFs are ex-GNE. Got transferred to Arriva through the Ashington + Hexham depot swap.

And they all have yellow overspray visible in areas it shouldn't be, like the inside of the emergency exit, can tell they were sprayed cheaply.
I dont think they all are,cus many moons ago i remember them being new to arriva and on the old M55 some are in arriva original colours but i could be wrong so dont quote me on it haha

They are 4001-7 in the Arriva fleet, though only 4 remain in service now, and all are due to be withdrawn imminently.

They are. Similarly, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, the Vxxx GDS B10s used on Toonlink were acquired from Arriva at the same time along with the Hexham depot.

Nice to see it doing the 602 as well.
Makes me laugh cus if my dad was here now he would dislike most of the new buses,yes he was a big bloke and had no time for automatics had to be manual

No, they didnt. The B7RLEs were bought new for service 527 or something like that down at South Shields depot.

A mere trial to see which provides better results.

Interestingly, Scania L94s were purchased the following year - suggesting that GNE preferred the Scania L94 over the Volvo B7RLE.

I think we'll find GNE will be going back to Optare for any future orders though..!
