Incidentally..what is going to happen to all the artics off the 58 when the new versas are received. Are they going to be scrapped or utilised elsewhere...and will this have any effect on the x66 bendies?

All the Citylink Examples are to be scrapped I believe, as for the X66 I have no idea as I haven't heard anything mentioned about them. As for being utilised elsewhere what route could they actually go on other than the X40/X66.

I've added the Mercs to NEB's fleet list - I have also used the images that were shared as attachments as the image on the individual record (see here for example). These images will be replaced when they're out in service next month.

The changes to the 20/20A/X20/RM1 timetables along with the 39/RM2 is indeed due to the Pre-christmas Rm1/2 journeys being introduced.

Thanks I thought it was with the Mercs more recently, Not 2007 with the Scanias but nevermind, Not a bad Idea having them on the Short 21's if they were moved over to Pilgrim Street again.

Bit of a downgrade from the high-spec Geminis though!

Stick wi fi in and not a huge difference. Plus they'll be loved for maintaining a frequency

That's true but I was thinking GNE could combine the 21/X21 so they Interwork using the Hybrids.

So for example

21 to Durham - Every 15 Minutes - Then onto an X21 to Bishop Auckland - Every 30 Minutes, Basically what happens currently on a Sunday at higher Frequency.

Crikey - don't like the idea of that one as its too slow for the Durham/Chester bit to Newcastle

Pretty sure its 15 on the 21's but for the whole lot & it's 6 on the X21 - good luck in trying to do something better with the same number of buses !!! I watched a film on it once, had Tom Cruise in and had lots of sequels Smile
