I wonder if NE1/Alive after 5 (or whatever it is called these days), decide to get involved?
In a similar vein to the way the radio stations all jumped on the bandwagon.

Just need 'the original' Radio Newcastle livery back!

Yes - Dan said that one of the only services not to use its normal allocation will be the 47 as it will be operated out of Stanley as opposed to Riverside. I think Northern Omnidekkas were said to be operating the service at some point?

Any other 'wrong brand' allocations will merely be double-deck vehicles covering on services which are expected to see high passenger numbers.

During the day, services X30 and X31 do not interwork.

However, on a night, vehicles which have operated service X31 during the day end up operating service X30.

The 1 were operated and interworked with the cobalt clippers last year. Same happeming this year?

last year was (on boxing day) i was unable to witness this as i was at a Sunderland match which was against Hull City which ended up Hull City winning 3-1 (Gaston Ramirez, James Chester, Nikica Jelavic all 3 are no longer at club with Ramirez returned to Southampton, Chester now at West Brom and Jelavic now at West Ham) (Adam Johnson) as Dan reported all buses bar the 47 is gonna be Streetlite operation from Stanley depot as opposed to Riverside depot doing the 47

Total requirement of 141 vehicles - a vast improvement compared to years gone by, with the Boxing Day network having expanded and additional resources being allocated to services which suffered delays last year to improve reliability.

Yes - special destinations have been programmed for services 1 (Whitley Bay - North Shields Ferry, with appropriate via points); 47 (Newcastle - Consett, with appropriate via points); 309 (Newcastle - North Shields, with appropriate via points) and Q3/Q3A (Newcastle - Great Park - Cramlington, with appropriate via points).

The Next Stop Announcements will not work on services 309 and Q3/Q3A, as these are set up under special route codes in the destination controller.

Excellent to see that Go North East is providing such a vast number of services, it's just a shame some other operators don't bother.

PVRs of .5s? Explain please haha (i'm certain it isn't a typo error either)

Quite glad they have done something with the V7 (although upgrading its capacity was a no brainer) - lets see what they choose to do on Bank Holidays.

I think we'll see Arriva operate some services out of Jesmond or Blyth next year - it'll be a real kick in the teeth, seeing another operator operate one of your services on a commercial basis, using double-deck vehicles (assuming the predicted demand is there!)

Those services noted with a PVR of .5 interwork with another service - add the two up together and you'll get a whole number.

Guessing that with the 60 and 61 interworking, the total PVR is 5 vehicles (with 2.5 on the list for both, making a total of 5 vehicles), and a PVR of 3 for the 16A and V7 (1.5 for each on the list, making a total of 3).

Depends who's running the show - the company's union reps, or the senior management who can spot a commercial opportunity...
