Might the red vehicles be for Washington?

(26 Aug 2016, 5:44 pm)Dan wrote I would not expect to see a spare vehicle for a PVR of 7.
Comms have gone out to drivers at Washington confirming that services 82/82A/82B and 83 will be branded as "indiGo" with brand new buses. I would suggest that the red Solos are to upgrade another service.
(26 Aug 2016, 5:49 pm)Dan wrote Services 85/86 will be operated by the "indiGo" branded vehicles on an evening - but the daytime service will remain as operated by red MPD (for now, anyway).

I thought that the long-term plan for Tyneside was to have all Nexus buses?
(26 Aug 2016, 8:34 pm)Tom wrote Wonder if the red Solos are for the 39 as Dan mentioned there was a reason the Solos hasn't been branded on there
(26 Aug 2016, 8:40 pm)Michael wrote I don't think they would be big enough, peak times even more so but that's like most services.
While i'm wondering, might as well ask... what length are they?
If the red Solo Sr's are for the 39, wonder where the "Red" Solar's will go?, what other services have a PVR, which don't have new buses?
(26 Aug 2016, 8:43 pm)Tom wrote Unless some of the Sunderland buses are going to be branded the same and they launch them all together and maybe add WiFi to the Solars?
(26 Aug 2016, 8:47 pm)Michael wrote No idea, Dan also mentioned that the 61 isn't down as "Simplicity" due to the versa's being temporary or something like that...so the Solo's could be for the 61.
No idea on the passengers numbers though
Means 5 versa'c can move on to the 38/238 replacing more MPD's.
