Q2 starts at Central Station, operates via Quayside to Gateshead then does an orbit round the surburbs of Gateshead back into Gateshead Metro, but goes the opposite way around the Gateshead area compared to the Q1, so does not really change into a Q1.

I wonder if the people of the "Suburbs" not "Surburbs" of Gateshead will understand the above without any sort of confusion crossing there simple little minds .
