This may be stating the obvious, but perhaps in a change of plan Arriva North East are now to receive a number of Brand New vehicles from the 2016/2017 order book, rather than Cascades
from elsewhere as originally planned. And given that some of the recent cascaded stock has proved to be a little unreliable, perhaps Brand New stock would make far more sense. It would seem very strange for Arriva North East not to receive any brand new vehicles in 2016.
