It sort of would make *some* sense for the 61 to gain the Violet Citaros considering there’s no sign of the ‘Blue’ buses. However considering GNE have referred to it as the ‘S&D Blue 61’ on their website, timetables, social media, Google maps etc. it feels somewhat counterintuitive to change the colour. But if it’s easier loose blue or go violet, perhaps go violet - saves painting those Citaros yet again! The 61 remains a PVR of 4 I believe, despite the extension to Peterlee as they’re dropping to every 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes.
