(02 Dec 2023, 8:39 am)L469 YVK wrote But then the QA is entirely pointless! Unless re-imbursed for loss of revenue by TNE/GNE, Arriva are going to lose revenue never mind drivers getting it in the neck when one bus every 10 minutes is free of charge, yet the other is full fare!

Well if a customer does get on an Arriva bus and says “well it’s free on GNE”, the driver can say “yes as an apology for leaving people stranded for 7 weeks’.
End of conversation.

It’s for 1 week.
If people want to stand in the freezing temperatures to wait for a GNE bus then they’re welcome to.
Arriva will have made additional income on those corridors while GNE were on strike, and will probably have increased loadings anyway on the run up to Xmas. I wouldn’t worry about it.
