All bus operators expect growth when they invest in new buses - whether it be from a competitor or new customers completely.
I don't use the Cobalt Clipper too frequently, but I'd expect that Go North East's advertising campaigns at the time of the launch of the new vehicles would have egged a few more new passengers on-board too.
