(26 Feb 2024, 4:34 pm)V514DFT Exactly what i thought, thing is this version of the 317 is a mis mash of 3 of their previous services, the 11(17/17A), 40 (41A)/41, remembering the 40/41 was re-routed to replace the 17 in the Rosehill/Holy Cross area

You could even argue there constant changes were the reason it needed to end up being unecconimcal and allowed them to withdraw it. The same as the 42A which is currently 342 and could end up run by them again. They should be prevented from bidding giving their history with the route. Almost like the withdrew it in hope Nexus would come running and shower them with cash. Arriva were very good at that in the late 2000s

Thought GNE had won the 342. Surprised they won the 317.

I'd love to know where in the world there gets 5 extra buses to run them and the drivers. If they lost the 342/19 it would have free up 6 buses but that doesn't seem to be the case
