Anyone else's Facebook not working properly?

I'm getting posts from 2 days ago at the top of page - even on "recent" posts, it's bloody annoying, every time they update it, they break it!

Cleaned the cache etc and nothing!

I had that problem about a month ago now, seems to have stopped now though.

I was seeing the same posts over and over again.

I think it was the 518 or something. Departed from the front of the bus station (outside Connecxtions) along with the 301/302.

FIFA have turned down a request by the The FA and Scottish FA to wear armbands displaying a poppy when they play each later his month...I think they should go ahead and do it regardless

FIFA reject English and Scottish appeals to wear poppy armbands

BBC Sport wroteFifa has turned down a request from England and Scotland for players to wear armbands featuring poppies when they face each other at Wembley on Armistice Day, says the Scottish Football Association (SFA).

The two nations meet in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on 11 November, the day when the United Kingdom traditionally remembers its war dead.

SFA chief Stewart Regan says Fifa, which bans political, religious or commercial messages on shirts, is "sticking to the letter of the law".

The two football associations hope to change Fifa's mind.

MP Damian Collins - chair of the Commons' Culture, Media and Sport select committee - has written to Fifa president Gianni Infantinoasking for the world governing body to reconsider its decision.

Separately, the Football Association of Wales says it is seeking approval for its players to wear the poppy symbol on their shirts when they play Serbia at the Cardiff City Stadium on 12 November.

The football associations of England, Scotland and Wales also want to know what the potential punishments could be should they decide to flout the rules.

Fifa, football's world governing body, has not indicated whether a points penalty would be under consideration.

Regan said he and FA chief executive Martin Glenn would be meeting Fifa officials on Thursday to discuss the poppy issue.

"We will be asking for their support to try to give the people of England and Scotland what they want," Regan told BBC Radio 5 live. "That is to use this match of a way of remembering people who lost their lives in the war.

"I can understand why they are doing this, but it is nothing more than a mark of respect. It is a personal choice. This is not about making some political point."

The compromise of wearing a printed poppy on an armband was brokered for England's 1-0 friendly win over Spain at Wembley on 12 November, 2011.

A spokesman for the English FA said: "We are working closely with the Royal British Legion once again this year to honour and remember the sacrifices made by those serving in the armed forces.

"In recent weeks, the FA has led remembrance discussions with Fifa to allow the England team to show its support for the Poppy Appeal during the World Cup qualifier with Scotland."

England are top of their 2018 World Cup qualifying group with seven points from three games. Group F rivals Scotland are fourth with four points.

The top team qualifies automatically for the finals in Russia, with the second-placed side possibly entering a play-off.

Wales lie third in Group D, behind Serbia and the Republic of Ireland.

Which hobby?

Bus Enthusiasm?

Would not say I am losing interest myself, but my life has been turned upside down in the last 12 months for both better and worse...

For worse dealing with the grief of losing my sister last December and all the shit that came with that

And for the best in getting together with my partner and becoming a family man to getting engaged and arranging my wedding in 2017

With all that going on my enthusiasm for buses has declined a bit, but I am still very much interested in the hobby

I do sometimes. Often I get sick of all the negatively from the North East scene, it seems like everyone sees everything bus related in the North East as crap, bad or whatever, I can't be arsed with debating things like route branding because the only response you seem to get is "it's ****" this is partly why I like going different places, just so I can escape it, additionally get to see different places and different buses.

Does not surprise me. All you have to do is read mumsnet to see how badly wrong they're getting their clothing. The women's wear is all bad polyester interpretations of high fashion - an d per una. It doesn't matter how old you are - Per Una is for older women than you.

The food, OTOH, is going from strength to strength. I'm a big fan - I can buy higher welfare meat far cheaper and better quality than in the big 4 and their ready meals and easy to prepare food, which I often have to rely on to get 3 different meals on the table while the boys are rioting or I'm struggling with my own difficulties (I bloody burnt myself when I had all these things going on at once, the other day!) are good quality with few additives. (Waitrose cakes are nicer though - they avoid palm oil and glucose-fructose syrup and use actual butter and sugar!)

I reckon the Durham store will be for the chop. or at least cut down to a small simply food, as the clothing section is crap and has been superceded by the arnison centre store, but the food hall always busy. I reckon they'll move out of town in Sunderland, too. Stockton and Darlo both also seem to have clothing sections that are merely walked past to get to the food.

Their microwave food is lovely.

Had the bung it in the oven barbecue pulled beef brisket for dinner, tonight, with potato wedges, a pile of salad and a big dollop of coleslaw. Bloody lovely! (The boys had waitrose venison burgers in buns from Akins bakers!)
