(17 Mar 2015, 5:17 pm)Robert The first Optare Solo SR 7.2m funded for by Durham County Council arrived at Stanley Travel today. It is KX15 BLZ and will be used on the Cathedral Bus services in Durham. They are the permanent replacements to the electric solos and will transfer from operator to operator as the contract moves operators. Another 2 are to follow.

The 15 reg Solo SR is currently on the 23.

KX15 BLZ was a nice ride, but the headrests are like scaffolding and I thought that we were going to crash into shops due to it being wider than the street. DCC and ST need Slimline versions of the Solo, if they already haven't got one.
