Does 'Nexus' have a recovery vehicle available close by?
It would probably only need a 'tug' (could even be small like a Land Rover) to drag a casualty out of the way rather than a full lift-and-tow wrecker.

Expect delays to service X21 between today and July 10 as the temporary traffic lights are back at Sunderland Bridge (The Honest Lawyer).

(02 Jul 2015, 12:21 pm)DaveyBowyer wrote Do you think that GNE will split the TTX to something like this:

- X9 = Peterlee Bus Station for Newcastle
- X10 = Peterlee Slip Road for Newcastle
- Evening X10 = Peterlee Bus Station for Newcastle
There are rules about where routes can be split, has to be a "recognised terminal point" which Peterlee slip road most certainly is not.
X9 could be split, but no point if X10 can't be split as well.

A shame they couldn't have retained the previous map, just drawing on arrows saying they continue around Gateshead/to Great Park

"proper" Quaylink map is under preparation I believe.

3858 has been withdrawn for a while now. 6008 from Deptford replaced it from what i can remember being posted on the forum.

I heard the same about 3858 being withdrawn the same time I heard via a Lee (not the NEB Member but someone else called Lee) 6008 took its place only things it does over there is appear on 1, 17, if desperate due to MPD trouble 40/41/80, mainly 1 I bet Davie would be glad, or 327 at a push 309/310 (they already have 2 spares for that route 6116/6117) 9 especially on concert events or Sunderland AFC match day events eg next time it will more than likely to happen which will be in August when Sunderland AFC vs Norwich City 1st home game of the season

Was meant to be withdrawn following the arrival of 6008 (and indeed was out of service for a few days if I recall correctly), but saw continued use until the end of the month while its MOT remained active, and is now in storage at Thornton Brothers, Ashington.

With 6104 away, it (and 6020) helped towards keeping the Cobalt Clipper operated by double-decks, as OmniCitys started to regularly appear.

If I remember rightly, Gary M posted on here at the time to say 3858 was still alive and kicking, which was hopefully when I updated our fleet lists!

I saw 3858 working the ''Coaster'' service in Newcastle last Saturday (27th June). Was quite loud, made me look around to see what it was.

Will the Cobalt Clipper be getting another PVR increase in September or any more timetable changes? I did e-mail GNE a few months back suggesting them to no longer 'dock' the 309 between Blyth and Cobalt in the afternoons and to increase the evening frequency on both routes to every 30 minutes. Would certainly help both routes grow and gain more custom.
