(16 Jul 2015, 3:02 pm)GX03 SVC That GSC More branding is ridiculously too big on that window.
Ideally we need the Greg of Weardale verdict on it. I can't see him approving of it like!

(16 Jul 2015, 4:53 pm)R852 PRG ''Never judge a book by it's cover''.

Or "Never judge a bus by it's colour....Read the name!" as Northern General would say.
https://flic.kr/p/7mTzgn

Although in theory, the above quote wouldn't work as most people would say:
"Oh look, here is a nice lovely looking silver bus coming along" then when it gets closer... "Oh shit its a Wright Streetdeck. Doesn't look like we are getting to where we need to be on time".

Nah; it's cush now man, aureolin. That massive vinyl on the front windscreen has been removed - couldn't send a bus to Weardale with that on when Greg is kicking about!

I would suggest Go North East purchase the Enviro 400MMC with the Scania Engine over any other Double Decker currently on the Market, I enjoyed two smooth journeys on 9109 this afternoon where there was not a rattle or a squeak to be heard and was quite speedy along the A1 and Dual Carriage Way between Chester Moor and Pity Me, also loved the seating as was very comfortable compared to the e-leather seating on the Streetlites for example, also thought the tables were a nice touch but probably not needed at all, unless of course it was on a Malarkey Marathon of a Route, safe to say ADL have built a top quality Double Decker, certainly was a hell of a lot better than the B5TL which was trialed last year.

9 Litre iirc.

Noticed an OAP take a Photo of 9109 at Pity Me after alighting, clearly she was impressed if she did only get a rear shot, must of took it to show her grandson or something.

I thought it was said that it should not be allocated to a specific board? The whole point of a demonstrator is not only to see how the bus copes over a certain period of time but also to get a range of customer opinions. Surely allocating the bus to the same board everyday is not getting a full range of views as it will be the same commuters using the same service everyday etc.

I think it was said it could appear on any board, rather than it should not be allocated to a specific board.
