(27 Aug 2015, 1:10 pm)NK53 TKT Does anyone know why NA52 RMZ was on the Coast Road

I saw it the otherday with L plates on, clearly being used on driver training duties again. Must be whilst its not needed at Hexham during school holidays

(27 Aug 2015, 1:15 pm)GX03 SVC Empty movement to (or from) Percy Main?

It didn't go that way though so I am confused. It did travel through Newcastle though it had 4 employees on

It looks like 9108 was parked up in Park Lane at some point today, for driver familiarisation.

Apologies about the shadows - only had ten minutes to jump off the Metro, grab my camera and find a place to take some photographs.

The back looks quite good compared to some buses.

Just looks like the rear of a Gemini 2, with exception for the upper deck!

From the outside, 9108 doesn't sound too dissimilar from the Volvo 7900 Hybrids when the diesel mode kicks in.

Speaking of Streetlites, I've noticed from my trips over the past week that they've sharp developed really bad rattles. I was sat at the emergency door seat on an 8 last night, and I had to keep my knee pushed between the door because the rattling was that bad. The one I had the other night was a similar story, with one of the seats further forward vigorously rattling every time the bus hit a bump.

I've noticed the odd rattle on the Red Kite examples too. The X66 ones seem fine though.

I've also started to notice that some of them aren't as smooth as they were on their first day in service (I struggled to fault them at the time). My disliking to them is more from an enthusiast's point of view than a customers; they sound uninspiring and feel too plastic. That's my opinion on them. Haters gonna hate.
