Also will there be some launch events?

This will be the third consecutive order from Wrightbus where one vehicle from a batch has been delayed for whatever reason (5396 for C&C and 5410 for Red Kite being the other 2). I'm starting to think it has developed a fault (which is better discovered there rather than here) causing it to be held at the factory until fixed.
(04 Mar 2016, 11:08 am)Michael wrote Would like to praise the lovely driver today driving the nu37. I was traveling from Washington to Doxford Park on the 10:03 service, his manner was friendly, welcoming and pleasant, he also waited for every single passenger to be seated before driving again, and when people got off he said goodbye,
He's a professional and a lot of your drivers should and could learn from him.
Yes I've previously put formal complaints in about your drivers when they put my families lives literally at risk by their reckless and dangerous driving, which went un replied by Go North East.
However this driver was truly lovely and and you should be made aware of his professionalism, and lovely character.
Go North East
Go North East Hi Linda, thank you very much for letting us know, I'll pass this along to the driver's line manager so they can receive the praise.
Pretty sure they don't run the 37 at 10:03am!

(04 Mar 2016, 6:20 pm)Michael wrote It is, its quite annoying that they give out wrong info for services they don't even run.
(04 Mar 2016, 6:26 pm)Dan wrote Go North East does operate service 37 - just not that journey.
I don't think Go North East's Customer Services department has intentionally accepted praise of a bus driver from another bus company. It's probably quite an easy mistake to make, given that the company does operate morning and evening journeys on service 37, and the customer has written to Go North East to praise the driver...
(04 Mar 2016, 6:42 pm)Michael wrote Ye, they operate it but really they should know what time they run it.
Like you said its a easy mistake.
(04 Mar 2016, 6:54 pm)citaro5284 wrote Of course, you could argue that the passenger should know which Company is running the service - is this a case of Nexus grey confusing someone?

(04 Mar 2016, 8:08 pm)Michael wrote It could be, see i think this would be the problem, if the quality contracts came about... loads of people wouldn't know who was contracted to what service.... unless they all the emails for complaints etc would go to one email address and they run one Facebook/Twitter page.

(04 Mar 2016, 8:17 pm)Dan wrote Using the same logic - could it be argued that Arriva's "Sapphire" and "MAX" liveries could be considered as 'another GNE colour scheme'?

(04 Mar 2016, 6:57 pm)biglugs@yahoo.com wrote Yes but go north east ran 635/6 on 37 before and if the passenger looked at the bus stop it states nexus so pretty heared id say for that lady to find who runs that run
(04 Mar 2016, 9:07 pm)Ambassador wrote Not too bad price wise at all. Durham passengers are winners, buy an Angel saver and use the Castles
Do wish they'd do a day saver for the Angel. Would tempt me off the train

(04 Mar 2016, 9:13 pm)GX03 SVC wrote Go North East's "Nexus" liveried vehicles have the Go North East logo towards the rear of the vehicle.
Most of GCT's "Nexus" liveried vehicles have massive stickers behind the cab with Gateshead Central Taxis information on.
(04 Mar 2016, 9:29 pm)Jimmi wrote when Go North East originally had the contract to run the 37 before Gateshead Central Taxis they used Solo SR's in Nexus livery and the buses carried some Go North East logos on the side and . . . but some people will have probably grown to identify it as a "Go North East brand" and now you have Gateshead Central Taxis running buses around in the same livery so I guess this is where some of the confusion lies, doesn't help that GCT have no company names on their buses . . . and I imagine most of the passengers will be totally oblivious to who runs the service.
