Stagecoach North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2016

Either way it was on a 37.
Rare?

36/37/38 all interwork so no, not rare (plus all the 'Zone' Enviros have 'Middlesbrough-Hartlepool' and 'Middlesbrough-Norton' branding on the side)

Ah right.
The whole 'zone' thing isn't too easy to follow from afar.

Seeing a vehicle with Hartlepool included in the branding and not going anwhere near the place threw me.

Not too sure I follow it, either!

Nor me! Just annoys me not being able to see out of the windows!

It's simple to understand, the fleet of 'Zone' Enviros have two route descriptions - one for the 36 and one for the entire Middlesbrough-Norton section. Since the Park End section was split off, the 36 interworks in Middlesbrough with either the 37 or the 38 (there are a few exceptions where a 37 works onto a 38 on a morning and vice-versa on an evening). It's quite easy to understand.

Not for customers? If it has 'Hartlepool' printed on the side, a customer would be forgiven for thinking the bus goes to Hartlepool. But this is the problem with printing destinations on the side of buses, when that's what destination displays are for.

That's simple. Doesn't explain the 4 different Zones!

I may have posted the incorrect
fleet number, I'll edit my post later.

Would explain the amount of buses wandering. Lost count of the Dots on 36/37/38 today, must have been at least 5
