After a last-minute change of plan, a very enjoyable day in Scarborough (rather than Metro Replacements). Doing touristy things as well as spotting. Plus getting the Olympus there and now back again.

I hope the weather was better down there than up here. We postponed plans to go to Hexham, as it was just so dark and damp.

I've had a pretty enjoyable day out round the Hull area on a bus tour. Volvo B10M/Alexander PS K785DAO provided us with haulage for some of the day. Highlight of the day was the bus having a singalong to The Jam - Town Called Malice and The Monkees - I'm a Believer [emoji1]

Now travelling on Virgin Trains East Coast back to Darlington.

The singalongs continued on the train as it had some drunk footie fans on. "Sweet Caroline" featured [emoji1]

You're going to have to put me out of my misery regarding where that pic was taken, because I can't place it!

Rain until 2 this afternoon then bar ten minutes where it looked like it might have started again, dry all afternoon with the sun appearing on and off.

I don't know Hull as well as you, but that looks like it is in York. Behind the Station Hotel.

Yep, it's York! Leeman Road, which is just around from The Royal York Hotel which is a short walk away from the rail station.

Got the train to Darlington then boarded this here in York then we headed on towards Hull on this.

I'm on a roll.

Never stopped in that hotel, but been there for a few conferences.
Seems a nice place.

I've completed my cycle. Last day was done with a major knee injury but im not a quitter.

Looking back in hindsight I think everyone was right - I should of gone to hospital!

But 200 mile done over 3 days climbing over 6850 feet and burning over 9500 calories im so proud of myself.

Couldn't of done it without a bag of frozen sweetcorn!

Congratulations.

Well done.

I'm now arguing about maths with big'un. I've blown his mind discussing multiplying a negative number by another negative. He's so screwed when I tell him about imaginary numbers Big Grin

Good thing about imaginary numbers is that you can just make them up as you go along.  Wink

Managed to get a T-shirt for tonight's gig although I was very lucky to get the one I did as it seemed to be the last one available to buy, fortunately for once it was in my size!

Took my youngest niece across to Morecambe for her first HUFC away game. She's absolutely loved it as we won 5-2 and the weathers been fairly decent all day
